To have sex together is the same then drinking coffee together ! And imagin, you can only drink coffee with the same person...........................
I too think Osho got a bad rap...people judge him without actually reading his words....He may have been a flawed guru, but he still had insights worth delving into
I just think Osho had a very interesting way of teaching to people that his source of joy was not in money or material goods. once could have 900 fancy cars, but true blessedness can only be found in ones self. Perhaps he just enjoyed cars, who knows. if so, he was not afraid to enjoy them and that is the best teaching of all
your not a witch to understand. your not a follower because u believe the same way someone communicates. your not a cult because u feel the same way. otherwise christanity is the bigggest of cults out there.
osho was just another human being, like you, me, everyone... unlike many, he realized it.... know that all is already within you... you need search no further than yourself.
there you go friends....OSHO had a Rolls Royce or perhaps a Bugatti Veyron , your teacher doesn't teach Simplicity but secret Materialism practiced by him instead.... before I enrich your minds... enrich my pocket first..... -OSHO , although I am truly impressed by the guy I admit it, but a Rolls Royce? you deserve it OSHO.....woohoo!!!
and what have you done to help the starving and sick of the world? Do you devote your time and energy to saving and serving sick people? Why not write to the makers of films such as Avatar that cost millions of dollars to make and tell them they should devote this money to the sick and needy of the world? Sports men and women who earn millions in prize money too, the list is endless. Be the change you want to see!
osho is budda awaken man not like mother teressa u fucking fool he is just preaching us for just to awake like him frm this hypnotic trance which we called mind u should read abt 20 books of osho then something will enter in ur fucking fool fake compassion mind
@MrThule I think, there is not much difference if anybody is having one rolls royes or having 99. The thing is that all the people present in this world can live their lives with two just two meals and simple clothing but we do not do it. I also earn some extra bucks but I keep them for myself. Everybody wants to have a good life and being wealthy has always been considered as a wrong thing but it is not. having wealth and being spiritual are not opposite terms.
@MrThule You've made 2 points, and Neither invalidates any of Osho's teachings. What have you done today to save the life of a sick or starving child? Do you own 1 or more motor vehicles?
@MrThule You must be a Christian....so forgive him lol C'mon wake up, stop judging and listen to the message, don't let your own projections about money be your limitation, peace
people interpret things as they want. Osho is dead and everyone tries to read his mind. But it's his life that speaks volumes. His teachings and his lifestyle were in opposition to one another - particularly in private matters.
Freedom a heavy loaded word with many conotations. Freedom from one's own mind or what many Zen masters encourage us to sit with what is and striving to get somewhere or attain anything is just a waste of time an energy. Most of what Osho said was a rehashing of things that he had read himself as he attained a hight degree in philosophy and read voluminously. However, that is the training of the intellect, no harm in that. But the life of a mystic beyond the grasp of the intellect.
@VimalKaivalya but why do we need to "start to be" if we're already "being." thinking is but an outgrowth of such a state. we are thinking beings after all. 'i think therefore i am' goes descartes famous declaration of the free subjective self. to be is to be.
I think there is a crucial distinction between 'Liberty', and 'Freedom'-while we are alive we can never be truly 'free' of stuff -conditioning, culture, desire. However, to have the Liberty to be able to choose our own destiny, and mode of living, this is the valuable essence worth striving-even dying for.
@GalaxyHorse Freedom is a state of being and we can most certainly be free in my opinion... it is when we are not influenced by what others think of us and/or want us to do but are able to live our own truth that we are free... it is most definitely attainable in this lifetime but it requires courage, determination and commitment..... Osho's path was not for the faint hearted...!! But well well worth it...
"........idea of every individual thinking for himself or herself and living free. Freedom is a heady one its too much of a heady one....."
Buddha said "Be ye an island unto yourself"
I think freedom was a heady one for Osho too and got to him. In the end, karma caught up with him and he got what he deserved. He took the idea of freedom too far, beyond what nature would allow an individual.
You speak with out of hatred not love. You speak out of confinement. So what if he read a couple of
books that helped inspire his teachings. be careful about saying what you think this great teacher deserved, because that same karma, if your not careful can follow you. Love your self a little bit more my friend.
Osho was a great teacher but he borrowed his fudamental ideas from Krishnamurty. Jiddu Krishnamury was the first teacher who proclaimed individuality in spiritual life and no spiritual authority. Osho had himself a great respect for Chrishnamurty.
Osho was more than brillinat, was great, sincere and brave to say the truths nobody want to see or live. They are not phylosophical things, but experiencial, lively. Osho is the best speaking explaining, conveying the message!
Tom Robbin's is respected much by me and his opionion of these type of guru's like osho and baba ..and so forth lay's alway's in my thought's ..he inspired me to search for truth through his book I wish I could have a talk with him some day :)) great post dont see much of robbins in europe unfortunatley ....namaste
truth? Do you think you can find any truth outside the illusion of your mind? By illusion, I mean the nature of everything, the dream, life, the mind or whatever you wish to call this one big phenomenon..
see ONE GIANT LEAP....Tom is my fav on the whole dvd..If you havent seen it yet, then seek it out.Its one of those universal must see's for ALL...Tom speaks brilliant on it!!!So do many great people....cheers
I never thought of the rolls royces in that way. I loved listening to him speak, i agreed with many things, but in the back of my mind i had preconceptions, that he was a nitrous oxide addicted con artist. perhaps there was something behind his actions. perhaps there wasnt. i will ponder it.
Tom Robbins, one of last american mystics. God love him, and by God I mean you and me and everything else, we all love him (and Osho) cause they know truth and try to spread it
