  • Whats the name of the song at the begginin'?

  • Soundgarden beginnings... interesting. Read somewhere their music style was very different but never heard it until now. Thanks, D.

  • Oh my... Look at Kim!

  • KIM WITHOUT HIS LOOOOOONG HAIRRRRRRR!!

  • Awesome early footage. Thanks

  • Ok. Now I get where the Led Zep comparisons came from.

  • Kim with the short hair, looks adorable. Of course, Kim with long hair aint so bad either.

  • Hiro Yamamoto!!!!! The ORIGINAL Soundgarden.

  • Is that scott sandquist?

  • here's the Soundgarden I remember.

  • @bnfox Did you actually see them during this time?

  • @StraightPunkEdge93 -indeed. I'm a hometown boy - saw them and all the rest dozens and dozens of times. Had a group myself - Chubby Children - from 82, very off and on, til 94.They used to do both Zep "Communication Breakdown' and Rush " Working Man" back in these days. We all knew they were stars.

  • @bnfox oh my god.....that's so cool man!!!! Soundgarden is one of my favorite bands, would give up everything I own to see them.

  • @bnfox don't you have stories to tell? I would love to hear them.

  • @laurapac - LOL!!! Oh yeah - mass stories! But who wants to hear the incoherent ramblings from some middleaged Seattle punk rocker!!!!!! Feel free to look up the Chubby Channel listed on my channel - you can hear music by one of "those" bands that didn't make it!!!!!!

  • @bnfox thanks, buddy. I would like to hear your ramblings, if you don't mind writing emails or something. I am writing a story based in Seattle in the 80s and need all kinds of information on those times rock scene.

  • @bnfox Wow, you were there. I want to be there. Sadly I was born 20 years too late and two states too south.

  • @KristinNirvana - everyone has their cross to bear...I never got to see jimi Hendrix!!! But DO feel very fortunate to have been here in Seattle to see and know all the cool hometown bands.Truly I am blessed to have seen Nirvana 15 times before Nevermind ever came out - frighteningly epic.

  • @bnfox Yeah, I'm sad that I'm too young to see the 60s and 70s bands too, that would have been totally awesome, but when I heard grunge man, I just knew it was perfect and no matter what happens in the future or what happened in the past, it was the most perfect and the best thing ever. And I only found out about it in the mid 2000s. All I wanted to do was go to a Nirvana concert, and then I found out Kurt had died and I never will be able to see them. I was in utero when Nevermind came out.

  • @bnfox aND I'VE seen a ton of punk and hardcore bands.. I stayed in portland oregon and seattle in 89 for 3 mounths oct to dec but my friends told me grunge.. no.. too trendy

  • jajajaj no mames, chris se mira bien morrillo jaja

y el kim con el pelo cortillo jajajajaj XD

  • the year and the month i was born on !!!!!!! =), dunno if it was in the same day hehe

  • whoa kim with short hair....chris looks sooooo young...thnx for the video man

  • Soudgarden best grunge band !

  • @TheRondileles - Best band! End of story!

  • @msoundg AIC too

  • @godzuki444 Agreed. The two of them are certainly a world apart from the grunge scene. For me, they're not grunge at all. And AIC is my second best!

  • Sad about the bad sound quality, but amazing to get to see this early footage of one of the worlds greatest bands :-)

Thank you very much for sharing this!!!
