You're right, I've been to both places and on just about every single street corner in Tokyo, are the buildings lit up like times square, where as everywhere in NYC is old gray depressing CRAP!
this is from the Keio overpass right? just past the starbucks? I used to work at Nova Shibuya Honko (to the left)... I miss Shibuya..
