  • Young is right, enviro fascists are nothing but ill informed malcontents, losers, liars, goofs and communists and one day soon they will be recognized as the tools they are.

The very basis for AGW is false and any grade eight child can tell you that, the Earth is not a green house and CO2 does not raise the temp, it's a result of rising temps, in cold yrs the atmosphere releases more CO2, in warm yrs it releases less.

Perhaps he'd be less rude if enviro nuts were smarter.

    Fucking morons!

  • ANWR Expert? Somehow I feel not. A native from Kaktovik would be an expert, a USFWS biologist working in ANWR is an expert. A geologist working with the USGS is an expert. A book writer from Texas is not an expert in any sense of the word. What Dr. Rice proved is he is biased as can be and has no ability to control himself. He was out of line for talking back at the Chairman and an embarrassment for those on the left side of the dais.

  • 1:35 "You just sit there in that chair and be quiet" What an ASSHOLE. According to The New Republic, Young is "well-known for his sharp elbows and generous appetite for legislative pork."[23] His reputation for steering federal dollars to Alaska is almost as legendary as that of Ted Stevens. For example, in the 2005 Highway Bill, Young helped secure $941 million for 119 "special projects," including a $231 million bridge in Anchorage that a rider in the bill named for Young himself.[24]

  • @Bruce1949919 WRONG. He was listed as the third-worst congressman by the popular magazine Rolling Stone, and dubbed "Mr. Pork" due to his involvement in the Gravina Island "Bridge to Nowhere" incident. During a debate he pulled out an eighteen-inch penis bone of a walrus and brandished it like a sword on the House floor.--- So no, Don Young is a stupid fuck who is not only rude but uneducated. THIS IS WHAT ALASKA CONSIDERS A TEACHER. SOMEONE WITH NO COLLEGE EDUCATION.

  • @electronicoffee I worded that wrong. That congressmen should be removed. Don't understand how they continue on. I just don't like ED and Brinkley is suspect though innocent in this situation.

  • Spill baby! Spill! (am i doing it right?)

  • Minnestota GOP state senator, Michael Jungbauer, claims to have studied all 13 fields of science related to climate change. Just so you know, no climate scientist would make such a claim. He's the leading climate change denier in the Minnestota state senate. It turns out that he has not even a bachelor degree in any field of science.

  • Joe Barton (R-TX) referred to Monckton, in his opening remarks, – as being “generally regarded as one of the most knowledgeable, if not the most knowledgeable, experts on the skeptic side”.

Monckton is NOT a scientist. He's a well know complete fraud.

But, they did it again. in May 2010, U.S House Republicans chose Monckton as their only expert witness for a hearing at the Select Committee On Energy Independence and Global Warming.

    Completely appalling and absurd.

  • @sailRichard - Oh, yeah, Monckton is among the most knowledgeable "skeptics." Which is to say, climate skeptics have no data to back their claims, except the raving hallucinations of a veteran, inveterate liar like Monckton.

  • And of course Sen Inhofe says its all a big hoax. Sure Senator, the entire world scientific community is just trying to get more grant money.

Christopher Monckton has no scientific background, his only higher education being in journalism. Yet, he is Chief Policy Adviser at the Science and Public Policy Institute a global warming skeptics group.

This is who Republicans brought to a U.S. House Subcommittee on Energy and Environment hearing as an expert witness, in 2008. He's a charlatan

  • California GOP congressman Rohrbacher suggests trees cause global warming

Speaker of the House Boehner says CO2 emissions are nothing to worry about because humans breathe CO2 in and out. Brilliant.

Michelle Bachman says there have been no scientific studies showing CO2 is harmful. I guess she missed the ~10,000 (up to about 2006) published research papers behind the IPCC’s 2007 4th Assessment Report

There have been thousands more papers since then.

  • This criminal behavior goes back to the Bush administration, who had a federal climate study done, and then had a Petroleum Institute lawyer edit the scientific report - to water it down.

They used this same lawyer from the oil industry to censor climate scientists at NASA, including preventing James Hansen from reporting the global average temperature for 2005, because they didn't like that it was tied with or hotter than 1998, and so one of the two hottest on record.

  • These congressmen are carrying out a witch hunt against climate scientists, ignoring the mountain of evidence and the opinion of what is basically the entire world scientific communtiy. They grill scientists with absurd, willfully ignorant questions, dismissing what the scientists say and often being rude to them, like Young.

  • Rep Young is unfortunately just one among almost the entire GOP congress, who are anti science, crackpot global warming deniers. They are the only major political party in the world, that denies global warming. The prestigious science journal Nature issued a statement lambasting the GOP for their anti science posture. Every scientific organiztion in the world agrees on climate change, as do 97%-98% of active climate scientists. Every GOP candidate, except Huntsman, is a denier.

  • @5:40 "he's not right in the head" LOL

  • Comment removed

  • All he did was stand up to an arrogant asshole plove53, something you obviously wouldnt have the balls to do

  • at 1:38, you can see the manchurian programming activate...

  • I'm all for "drill baby drill"... but Young was out of line.

  • @plove53 Yes Young was out of line, but this guy Brinkley was definitely a dick, both at the hearing and in this interview. All he did was talk sh*t.

  • Don Young is obviously a lunatic, but we have to be honest with ourselves and ask a very important question: Who the fuck elects someone like this? There's always going to be some clownshoes idiot espousing nonsense. You're not supposed to vote such an individual into Congress! If you elect some idiot to be your leader and represent your state, you are going to reap what you sow. We need to do a better job picking our leaders.

  • @AKSBSU

You're missing the point. Elections need money, lots of it. Who knows what dirty money does in the background.

    Don Young R-Ak

    According to DirtyEnergyMoney

Sided with Dirty Energy interests in 100% of selected votes.

    Has received $558,658 from Coal [15%] & oil [85%].

  • I thought Obama assassinated Anwar.

  • he makes Palin look like a genius

  • "This guys makes sarah palin seem moderate" HAHAHAHAHAH >_<

  • There is no money to be made just letting land be land.

  • @62636263c Some things are more important than profits.

  • yeaaaaaa, moxnews is back online.

  • an actual good show from the Ed Show! Shocking!

  • You don't own me you motherfucking bitch!

  • You don't own me you motherfucking bitch!

  • hats off to brinkly for handling this petro-putz with good, old-fashioned class.

  • I think Doug Brinkley may have given progressives a lesson how to confront these bullies. These people think they can bully/cower everyone by claiming you're not American/patriotic. Yeah, like Harvard graduated is supposed to be an epithet? Kudo to this guy! These people should be confronted head on. Don't you see what they do? Once they don't get their way they start screaming & showing up to protest with guns. Yeah, when you can't win the argument, resort to violence.

  • How does somebody paid with taxpayer dollars as mr brinkley, say he pays for anything without the taxpayer

  • @judale54 Dr. Brinkley works at a private research university. In fact, it's rated one of the best in the country.

  • Don Young=cancer

  • Big oil money speaks and it sounds like nasty shit. Alaska can do better then that.

  • This is Big Oil money trying to bully their way around our congress!

  • I'd just have gotten up and walked out. You're wasting your time trying to deal maturely with this typical conservative bully.

  • This is not the only arrogant congress critter. The fact is what we need is term limits so that people do not considered themselves entitled to f**k over the entire nation for the corporations who are paying them off.

  • Yeah, we should be real proud of OUR national parks being owned and controlled by the UN.

  • ~Intellectual idiots? Isn't that the same type of

    oxymoron as compassionate conservatives is?!

  • I'd hand this rude pig a shovel and tell him he should start digging if wants to get the oil out of ANWR. After he keels over from being a fat little poison toad, i'd leave his carcass for the bears.

  • The congressman is an ass, as are CFR members. It would really help the 99% to open up more oil fields. Keeping a field closed only serves to boost prices artificially, and does nothing to prevent pollution since other fields are open and the same demand for fuel exists. In other words, the same amount of fuel is going to be burned regardless of whether the field is opened or not, but poor people are paying more because it stays shut. Incidentally, Teddy Bear Roosevelt was a white supremacist.

  • @HyperIndividualist What if—as some futuristic maps show—the USA undergoes invasion by Russia, Mexico and China, and is divided up or parted out—which, depending upon the severity of the refusal which the USA citizens offer the NWO, such an attempt will be made—Russia just might re-write drilling boundaries. Those nations might have ideas about parks, which from that which we now have, will be most different, . . . what if, . . .

  • @phillipgaley I think it more likely that Uncle Sham's inveterate improvidence and willful warmongering would lead AmeriKans to demand that Russia, Mexico, and China "liberate" them via soft power means, i.e., via economic development. Either way it's far too early to tell and is pretty speculative.

  • @HyperIndividualist You're not TOO far off—and for example, when the Vandals conquered the Empire, for the administrative evil which had existed, the middle class, working, asked only that, their previous Roman bureaucratic supervisors be not again put over them.

And, as is to be seen in recent conflicts, for the speed at which missiles can suddenly come to life, nor are we any too soon. Also, with "soft power means", population reduction cannot be effected, . . .

  • @phillipgaley Suppose there's a scientific dictatorship hiding behind the form of constitutional government. Using soft power for depopulation would be a simple matter of taking over higher education & health care. Kill them softly, with kindness, using a bunch of trained monkeys in labcoats who just go by the computerized book & are essentially button pushers. After all, the people are endlessly clamoring for health care reform without bothering to analyze the root of the problem.

  • @HyperIndividualist Well, in this YT v "selective depopulation race to the bottom ethnic weapon" showing the steps made in gene specific viral targeting. And couple that with the apparent attempt in "patterning": "Hey, everbody, time t'line up for your (latest whatever) shot.", to be met with: "C'mon everbody, time t'git'n line for R shots."; yeah, it's an arguable scenario, . . . although it couldn't kill poor people, it could kill a race, . . .

  • @phillipgaley It could kill the entire species.

  • @HyperIndividualist But it's almost comical—every so often, the pathogens for Bubonic plague and anthrax have to go through a human host, so, guess what? Every so often, one or two lab workers goes down with it, . . . oh well, . . . "it's for science", . . . and after all, the time when they were alive, they had pretty good jobs, . . . so, . . .

  • @phillipgaley Yeah, the attitude generally is "Ya gotta die of something, so it might as well be __." Government/corporate scientists aren't supposed to ponder ethics, morality, common sense, or basic human decency. Government/corporate scientists merely figure out what's possible and do it, which is systematic and organized madness.

But perhaps it's time. Maybe Captain Trips would clean things up.

  • Run this crazy bastard out of office, Alaskans. You and your absolutely beautiful, resource rich state deserve better!

  • You give an old man power and he goes over board. How did the people in Alaska vote for this loose cannon?! First Sara palin with her own family problems then the illegal alien who sneak in the system as a police officer, and now this old angry man in congress treating people with no respect at all. And all this time i thought the Alaskan air was a fresh of breathe air.

  • What a f"cking waste of space, I mean he's an old nasty fart, but c'mon!!! alaska u can do better.

  • my heart is racing... i wanna fuck that senator up so bad. that fucking clown ooooooooow im so pissed that im about to smash my keyboard

  • @040119863842 I feel the same. I'm really angry that this bozo is a congressman thinking he can treat people like this. Throw the ass out!

  • Who in their right mind voted for this Alaskan rep? I don't even want to write his name. WOW!

  • get rid of him

  • If anyone ever called me an intellectual idiot I would laugh my ass off. That's just too funny. "hey der you university type, yer just one of them smart stupid people aren't yeh?"

    Priceless.

  • That shifty eye chic behind him.

  • The Mr Ed show. Wasn't that a horse of a horse show?

  • That aide's reaction is priceless.

  • @trajan74 I know, right?! It's awesome. She must be mortified right now. It's hysterical.

  • Mr. Brinkley is a complete, childish fool.

  • Environmentalists are socialist scum of the Earth, but this congressman makes them look like nice guys.

  • @XulChris Fuck you, asshole.

  • @Z200a Go hump a watermelon you socialist statist scum of the Earth.

  • @XulChris you're the scum of the earth actually.

  • @ABon1212 No, scum comes from socialism which is the purpose of the environmentalist movement. The biggest polluters on the planet are socialists.

  • @palatiality Well she shows him disgust when she gives him head on the evenings.

  • A bit of a crackpot LOL!!!

  • @palatiality she is a bus girl for congress men, she is nothing more than toilet paper, to her, congress men are GODS and "witnesses" are scum

  • Lets see. Alaskan voters keep this guy in office for 40 years. They elect Palin as governor. How does anyone think Alaskans are good people?

  • Way to go Dr. Brinkley! You make these people look like they really are insufferable unintelligent and ignorant people. Why is this mean spirited individual allowed to continue in office? What are the people of this individuals district thinking? His view of reality is nothing if not insufferable! He can't attach himself to reality!

  • What a douche bag. He works for us. Fire him.

  • @RustyCyler The redneck Alaskans will vote him in till he is DEAD,look that had Sara Palin..Nuff said..

  • Don Young seems to be out of his mind. He really does not know what he is talking about. He reminds me of Bill O'Reilly

  • I would have put him in his fucking place.

  • look at the little bitch minions face! HAHAH

  • Don Young a complete fucking disgrace unbelievable lack of respect for Dr.Douglas Brinkley totally disgusting. Is this the way congressman treat the public??? or experts on a particular subject for that matter???

  • lol @1:35 her eyes "ohhh it is happening!"
