I think the movie was stupid. They made it about child abuse, so the whole point of the legend was gone and Onna's lines didn't seem to fit. I know they tried to make it about children because of the panic that happened, but the panic didn't exactly make sense, so why did they think the movie would...?

I've always been a big fan of Japanese horror movies. In my opinion, they create the stories intricately...not just make the viewers scare but make them feel something else they have never felt before.
