  • If you can prove that 2 + 2 = 5 then you might also be able to prove there is a draw here.

Try it, tell me how you think there is a draw and I will answer why there is none. Good luck!

  • Sorry I spoke too quick, thinking brave, but when I set up the board I soon realized I was wrong... Thanks for making this great series....

  • This is very subjective, although there is no doubt the position is won for white.

I think it depends on the player, many a won game has been lost in chess by experts and novices alike.

A novice may well lose as white, where as an experienced player should win this easily.

Not even a GM can win with 10 seconds remaining on the clock.

Ps, great videos by the way. ;)

  • why the white pawn change position in 1.14 - 1.16 ? ...... someone please ?

  • @rafafederer

Because in the variation I talk about the pawn from a6 moves forward to a7 on order to get promoted into a queen on the next move.

  • hm, didn't get this one, very good With king on white square and rook on black needing to access white the white square bishop dominates. I had thought to hook bishop and pawn, force rook to exchange for pawn and win bishop knight ending but this is sooooo much easier
