  • If that is real then wouldn't the cover still be a 1st state because it didn't have the paste over on it at all?

  • If this is real, then you may be sitting on the most valuable "2nd State" ever produced. Honestly it looks like you have two different record jackets in the sleeve, with a reproduction butcher and a normal Truck with alot of surface wear...

  • so rare

  • How do you go about telling a real from a fake?

  • I personally think that it is definitely a fake. That is far too large of an error for the factory to ever ship it. Quality control would never have allowed that to leave the factory. The only other possibility I can think of is the previous owner peeled the cover, and pasted the peeled cover on the back himself. Otherwise it is a fake.

  • @roostr20 It's most definitely not a fake. When you see it in person and smoothness of the cover, one will see that it's a first time paste over and a subsequent removal and paste. I've sent this to a couple of renown authorities on this particular and subject and both state it's real. I sent photos as well that I don't have posted on here. It's very rare and one of a kind.

  • you can make so much money off of that

  • It's quite a statement. What do you think it means?

  • @FranklinParkIL Well it's a factory error and I have never seen anything quite like it. The vinyl is in stereo. I was just bowled over seeing the item. It's most definitely not a fake. Maybe one of a kind in the world? Anyone?
