Yes eyecandy can be overdone, but don't act like animations are useless because they dont add functionality. If you honestly believed that you wouldn't have any eyecandy in your OS or cellphone at all.

This looks awesome, but I got a bad feeling it wouldn't run so smoothly on my diamond2... there are just too many animations going around. in fact, I think the lagging will be so bad it would be barely operable on my diamond2 at all :(

On the site it says he's implemented some gestures using the touchpad on the original Diamond, so it should at least be fairly usable (the Diamond has a speed-wise identical processor to the TD2 and the other 528 MHz Qualcomm devices).

I hope this is a total revamped interface and doesn't run on top another rom. I have a diamond and spb 3.5 but if the rom is shiitty, anything on top will suffer as well. I know they got many roms but I've gone through 4 roms with some degree of bugs that makes the diamond just annoying as hell.

This is cool but that's not all I'm going to say as someone else suggested. I think a cool effect would be a Gyro feature to let you play with the Widget icons. When You turn it on the Widgets slide across the screen top, bottom, left or right dependent on which way you tilt your phone. I'll try to come up with more. Congrats and Good work!

Thinking more about my suggestion, it could be a screen saver function that turns on after so many minutes have passed. The screen goes black but when you pick it up the icons begin to shift. As long as you don't touch the screen the icons can shift as long as you want them to. When you touch the screen everything goes back in place and/or the lock screen appears.

Another what about a progress bar for the Mediaplayer (The one that had Beyonce and BEP)? Maybe under the Skip/Pause buttons?

@leemoss84 Your pure is slow because if I'm right your running the rom it came with it. At least mine was like that when I got it till I found a rom that was good for me now is super fast with memory staying below 50% when I use it.

no, im actually running the newest energy rom with maxmanila. i havnt had the oem rom on it since the first week i got it. its the manila 2.5 rom that slows it down, im thinkn bout putn the manila 2.1 energy rom on it.
