This game put darth vader in the game mechanics.. then NEVER allowed you to play as Vader.. I hate the force unleashed for that. Then they done it again with Force unleashed 2... despite bringing DLC character no darth vader....wtf!! Are they secret startrek lover who hate starwars?

A) To introduce the player to the game mechanics and controls.

B) To give a narrative opening that made sense.

C) The game is not about Darth Vader, it's about his Apprentice, Starkiller

and D) What better way to start a Star Wars game off than putting you in control of Darth Vader? The biggest badass in the galaxy.

@eskoturn5000 I love how I somehow agree with you AND want to punch you for lack of spelling. Also, slight disagreement here: The Emperor WAS visibly disturbed and unhappy when Maul was cut in half. That was obviously not something he planned. And (from what I can gather through trailers for the show the Clone Wars, which is canon), Darth Maul DID survive somehow.

BTW, who else finds it funny that Star Wars has the successful show while Star Trek has the successful movie?

@eskoturn5000 I didn't deny that. I just said that the Emperor did not plan on Maul being killed, and was visibly disturbed by his death. Also, I cannot help but feel that the Emperor didn't factor Anakin into his plans until AFTER Maul was killed. As the rest of his plan to take over the Empire just hinged on a strong apprentice, and not necessarily Maul or Anakin specifically. But yes, Vader and the Emperor are the strongest Sith ever. Or at least the smartest.

I think the AI needs more work, that light cyber sould be doing a whole lot more damage... The developers should of tooken a look at some zombie games to see how others cut up flesh and also something like F.E.A.R's AI to leave the ground battle scars... With that it would of been more epic... Still a good game tho i'd deff... play it :)
