What a rocker, what a beat and what soothing lyrics...the best way to describe this shiner by Fats. I still question who was the bigger man on the charts back in the doowop era, was it Fats or was it that Chuck Berry guy...i like 'em both but personally I would have to give the fatman the first nod. Thx4 postin'
@Ezdduf4kuZ Both are great but Chuck Berry is the true king of Rock-n-Roll. He wrote every song he ever sang. Very impressive songwriter. Only songwriting team Lieber & Stoller wrote more Rock-n-Roll songs in the 50s. But they weren't performers. Chuck Berry was.
This get a better grade than I myself can ever imagine, I like it more than I did when it was Top 40. I'm into Fats more than I was in school but always had a few I favored by the fat man. My favorites are I'm Gonna be a Big Wheel Someday & Yes It's Me & I'm In Love Again.....Billboards Magazine's favorite was Blueberry Hill cause the adults had more to do with the Top 40 back when, the only artist we could plug was Elvis as we didn't have the $ to buy all 'em good records made 4 teeners.
He's so happy when he sings his music, and that's what makes him the greatest to listen too...lol.

Just great., wonderful.
Dodgy haircut, but really great, such a wonderful, warm, rocking, uniquely identifiable sound.
Fortunate to see him twice (London`s Royal Albert Hall/Hammersmith Odeon) - truly a privilege
