  • You can fade in and out HTML documents too, amirite?

So you could add like a "Featured Products" slideshow with each featured product slide being separate HTML files with their own "Purchase Now!" buttons.

    Am I wrong?

  • @thedevo01 I mean using this exact same technique.

  • Excellent tutorial! Thank you. I've been doing basic HTML/CSS/Javascript for several years now and have only just found jQuery, and this is a superb starter as it's a great impact for relatively small amount of code.

  • I have 3 images just like you.....but when i load my web page the slider only charge the first 2 images and stops......what can i do?

  • It does´nt work for me. I´we done exactly as you but when I open the IE browser the first image stays. But there is an X in the upper left corner thats fades in and out???

  • I cant find your sample code? My slide show dose not work and I want to check it against yours.

  • my slider only goes from image1 to image2 and then stops...

  • So I followed the tutorial exactly and went over the code several times. The slideshow justt flat out doesnt work for me. Nothing happens. :( I guess i dont understand how you get it to work without ever referencing image2 and image3. Help would be appreciated ill glady send you my code if you think you could figure it out

  • thanks alot:)

  • awesome! so how do I preload the images??

  • Does every jQuery script need API to support the function?

  • @2452994 No there is no add ons or API's needed other than jQueries library.

  • well i went through all 4 parts to find out that image 1 was shown twice and the number 3 was shown on the page

  • @puggsy21 Hmmm. Thats bizare I will try and find the code for this and you can compare also to hide the counter you may need to do a few css tricks. I tried to go into as much depth but I used 4 vids as it was.

  • This would be alot easier is you specified where you got that jquery page.
