I think that external links are filtered out on the comments section of YouTube. However all you have to do is search google for the title of this game and there should be a download link on dosgamesarchive.
@sacultik: That's no secret. Vinyl has always seemed to have been heavily inspired by the Jill of the Jungle series. There were rumours going around that Vinyl was originally intended to be a sequel to Jill, but so far, I haven't come across any solid evidence to prove that.
I'm looking for this game for years. I always thought it's called "Vinly" by the woman I control. I have to say it looks good. Did you finish the game?
So why didn't you upload the 3rd episode? I had to send the 3rd episode of another user to "my favorite videos" Playlist inorder to have all of the game finished on my CPU. And you are quiet good in in this game, but you are still being hit a lot. Although I will have more injuries if I play this game now after more than 10 years I didn't.
@drkahara : God, it's been a while, hasn't it? Given how low the view counts have been, I didn't find myself really wanting to record any more of the game seeing as somebody had already uploaded the 3rd episode.
I might get around to it eventually, and I'm also thinking of uploading a complete Commander Keen walkthrough in the future (covering all 8 games, including the Gameboy release).
Nice, good luck, man. Did you see the comment I posted on your channel? I hope you can tell me what these "mouths" Vinyl has to collect are. I never understood that. And another thing I always wanted to know (and you can't tell me of course), is what the hell is up with the aliens. When I first played it I thought: "What the hell is this?" It looked so strange to fight these monsters and fire balls shooting gold fish.
@drkahara : Those red clacking things? I have absolutely no idea. Their only purpose is to give you extra points, but it's pointless collecting anything considering that the game doesn't even make any record of your high score.
And don't ask me about the monsters. I suppose the developers were going for a more surrealist quality seeing as the game is set around 100 billion years in the future. =P
Right, and that's why I didn't ask you about the monsters. I wonder if there are cheats for this game, not that it matters. Now, just to know, do you have a favorite music through the game's levels? Because my favortie themes are level one's and the title theme. Do you have the poster of the REAL Vinyl Goddess? You should have it in the full version of the game.
Oh!! The music!!! I just love the music in this game! Just downloaded the game, but there is some issues with the sound card, so I only hear the sound effects but not the music. :-P Thanks for uploading this! Brings back good old memories.
wow... i played this game when i was 6 :P

@bogercs: Perhaps, but she's certainly no warrior.

@bogercs ...Don't compare rubbish (Gaga) with elegance (Vinyl Goddess) please...

does anyone know if you can get this Mac yet?
lozzastitch 1 year ago
@lozzastitch It's so old (1994) that I doubt anyone's considering porting it over. You could probably run it in a DOS emulator, though.

@pypab do you know a website?

@drkahara: Yes, I have. I've finished the complete game twice and I can't recall how many times that I've blown through the shareware version. =P
