  • Well I just put one on today and can verify, it's solid as a rock, best money I have ever spent. Once you get the rear sight off, it's a snap to install, but download the instruction from accus sight cause the do not suply them with the hardware. No drilling and messing up your rifle. I have mounted alot of scopes and this is as tight as any I have ever mounted.

  • I have a scope mount like that but I have not put it on my rifle yet. Is it a good scope mount, and do you get good accuracy with it? I mean, it is not "loose" on the rifle?

  • i see youve had this mounted for awhile now and it was holding good on your last post. is it still holding up well and are you happy with it? i have accumounts PE scope setup for my mosin...i see they put your video on their website too, they have mine on their also. id like to go with something a little cheaper like this for my mauser but at the same time dont want it if its junk.

  • @ericzanutto Huh, i guess im doing free advertising.... I did not know that they used my video. To be honest i put the Mauser away forever and i removed the mount and sold it on Gunbroker. I will say that it stayed tight and on zero for the 380 round can i shot with it.

  • Damn, I was going to get one of those but now seeing it up close it looks like the scope is elevated too high. If you want to get proper cheek weld with that thing you might need to get a add-on cheek rest but it'll change your shooting style which sucks to re-adapt to.

  • I got a scout mount but I can't seem to punch out the rear sight pin. I'm looking at instructions that show a tiny pin, but I don't have on in my K98, or I can't find it.

  • If its a Russian capture there is probably no pin in there. take a screwdriver and pry from the bottom of the sight while pulling it with your hand and it will come off.

  • Is this in order to depress the spring? I'm having a little bit of trouble, but I think I could do it with a C clamp (which I don't have haha)

  • shouldn't need a c-clamp press down on the spring and pry up the sight

  • Hey there, i was thinking about getting the mount from ebay link, but i am a little concern that the mount would not be stiff enough to handle multiple gun firing!

so my question is how's the mount holding up for you after multiple gun firing at the range, and is the scope mount still good intact????

  • @tengher10 it held up good the 3 months I used it on my Mauser before I retired her. It stars very stiff.

  • @01PreludeVTi thanx for the reply bro!

  • Scope looks like it sits high. do you shoot with a cheekpiece on the stock?

  • Nope i like it like that

  • ive been thinking about getting this mount. how long did it take to install, what do you need, and how many rounds have you put through it since you got it mounted

  • It took about 5 mins to install very simple. I recommend it. I would get one off GUNBROKER they can be had for under the 80 list price

  • haha yea ive been lookin around. thanks

  • does the mount hold its zero??? I'm thinking about getting one, but the mount looked a little flimsy.

  • So far so good it not actually flimsy at all its very tight.

  • very nice this is best german gewehr TOP:)

  • Thanks rifle is great!

  • This model AX ERMA was made in the same factory as the MP40

  • the bayonet is Yugo, or Czechoslovakian?

  • Czech , i have a German one also.
