Hi! Have you ever tried intellectus 424 diet (do a search on google)? Ive heard some awesome things about it and my cousin lost crazy amounts of weight with it.
I don't think I could LIVE without hot tea in the winter time. Gosh..that's like my little winter ritual thing. Steamy hot tea and looking at the weather from a window and dreaming of next spring's garden!
Chlorella, the perfect food... I actually started eating chlorella the day after I got this weird cold thing and lost my voice- I got better the next day and I totally credit it to sunlight, green juices and chlorella- not to mention it tastes better to me than wheatgrass or spirulina.
Have to vote wheatgrass cause haven't tried the other two! Very inspirational the bit about optimal health for the whole person - raw food, exercise, supplements are all tools for the journey. Thanks Kevin!
If it was totally based on taste I would have to say Chorella cause I cant taste anything. Spirulina would be next then wheatgrass. As far as instant boost in energy I would defintely go with Wheatgrass hands down.
besides warm/hot food exercising also really keeps you warm. In cold days I always do some sit-ups, squats, push ups, pull ups and similar. That really does the job.
I eat all 3 daily, but to be honest - I don't like any of them. I can say though, that I "dislike" wheatgrass the least.
I did try chlorella tabs once and thought those were pretty good. But now I have powdered spir. and chlor. and neither taste very good. So I mix all 3 together and knock that bad boy back - ack.
I have have found that getting cold, or hot for that matter, is caused by excess fat in my diet. I never really understood this until I really listened to what Dr. Doug Graham had to say. We both eat less than 9% fat now and never have the chills we had before on a raw food diet.
Low body temperature is one of the biomarkers of longevity. People with lower body temperature live longer. It's part of how calorie restriction extends lifespan. Lower body temperature in humans and all animals live longer.
This Is Great! Glad the Tour was so Blessed for you all. It is a Joy to Know you all and I look forward to see you again... Look for us on tour out east in Spring ! Shalom Shalom!!!
Optimum Health cannot contain any cooked food. Even tiny amounts will keep you down. Cut out the cooked food and you will see a great jump in your health.
um... I've never had any of what you mentioned. Sorry -.- I like berries though? =p
Thanks for another good show Kevin! I wanted to say that after watching Rev. George's bit on your show I went to this youtube page and watched all 25 videos of her lecture. Now me and my husband are really interested in going at least 90% raw. I never thought in my life my hubby would consider it! So thank you thank you from the bottom of my heart. You may have just helped me get more time with him.
about a month ago while hiking I gathered as many black walnuts as I could carry and sat down on a ledge later in the day and broke them open with a huge rock quite easily. I thought to myself that this was, indeed, the way we were meant to be! I can't eat more than 10-15 nuts in one sitting, certainly, but nature actually made it pretty easy in that case. What I can't do is gather enough of them for winter and clean and dry them without making a mess, so perhaps nuts can't be relied on.
nuts are good. are pits stinking and lithargic feeling. thats very unnormal. that should not happen. just eat what ever to get your nutrition in. the raw food life style isn't that good. it should be optimal heal for everyone not this raw food thing. get that nutrition in how ever and don't be eating disorder crazy over it. just make sure your eating a balanced diet. I would not avoid nuts but do not go crazy when eating as in if it takes other foods away from your diet.

raw food: "it's not my goal. my goal is optimal health"
^_^ thanks for putting it that way! i dislike it when people pressure others to eat 100% raw.
exercise, stress relief, good relationships, and getting enough sleep... thanks for the reminders!

I've only had Spirulina and wheatgrass. Wheatgrass tends to hurt my stomach, so I tend to use spirulina quite often.
gomindy21 2 years ago
Chlorella would be the winner for me.
I agree, load up on the raw foods, but have a bit of cooked too.

If you have good enough blood flow, you will be warmer than someone on a cooked food diet.
hot peppers, garlic, blueberries, tomatoes, roots, all warm the body. Also avocados are good.

Haven't tried anything but Chlorella .
Kevin - aren't you concerned about the phytic acid in nuts when you consume them raw?
Though you might not eat as much - it's still something and it's not good. Nuts should be soaked overnight and dehydrated to release the phytic acid.
Oh, and if you get headaches with normal spirulina - shouldn't that mean you shouldn't eat it? or that you should eat mnore of it as a detox cure?
I wonder why you don't react the same way to crunchies as you do normal.
