  • sweet !

  • Oh thank you very much i just found this on accident lol

  • really nice groove .... question ..... i know you are shuffling on the snare ... texas style ....are you shuffling the ride cymbal as well or playing quarter notes ...

  • @sweetfly66 Hi, I'm playing mostly 1/4's but when I'm on the ride I'll throw in a "swing/jazz" pattern.

    Thanks =)

  • make a longer one its verry cool to jam whit!!!!nice job!

  • That's a clean & dead on groove. The drums sound great, mixed well.

  • This is what i have been looking for someone doing just drums with no guitar or bass guitar in it. Do you do full length recordings 3 1/2 to 4 min for guitar playersand bass players to jam to like classic songs rock and country?

  • This sounds so clean and perfectly timed. Hallmarks of a highly skilled drummer. Thanks for posting this. Its the best shuffle on youtube. I want to learn to play this and now I have an excellent reference.

  • very nice of you to say. thank you =)

  • Oh sounds nice :)

What kind of snaredrum/head do you use?

    Nice groove!

  • attack single ply medium coated

  • thank you. i believe the snare drum was a Yamaha Musashi 13x6 Oak snare drum.

  • Very nice to hear a REAL blues beat !

Most people on Youtube who demonstrate a blues beat are actually playing a rock beat. Greaat Job !!!

  • thank you =)

  • This is great Mike. I can't wait to play along with your beat. Can you post more like this?

  • thank you. i'll post more soon. =) maybe something a little more uptempo.

  • Mike, I enjoyed it. That was nice! : )

  • thanks! =)
