Yeah, it's about how the mayor of San Francisco was giving homosexual couples licenses to marry for a while...a couple years ago, before that damn prop. 8! Nowadays, listening to this song makes me kind of sad since prop. 8 was passed. Especially the line "if they take it away again someday, this beautiful thing won't change." But the song is so full of hope! Hopefully someday it will be allowed again :)
