actually this song was 1st recorded by kai winding's orchestra in 63, the yr before irma's release and the stones (both were done in 64).

1mikeyg1 to me the best part of kai winding's versions are the vocals of Cissy Houston and Dionne & Dee Dee Warwick. Mick Jagger's vocals are patterned after Thomas.

Iram has always been great.  My favorite song is Any One Who Knows What Love Is (Will Understand). I have been looking for the origianl version from 1965 and can't find it. If anyone has it or know where I can get it, please let me know.

This is great! Despite the sound being too loud, she sings the heck out of this song. True, she did deserve to have the hit.

Her original recording of this song was about 10 x better than the Stones and I'm sure they'd tell you the same thing... I'm glad someone got her on video. She's one of the greats. The sound must have been recorded a little too loud, but it's the only thing I've seen, so that's great. I hope to see more of her. Thanks!!!
