@billyrocks34 Then according to what you say I can park my car in the sidewalk if I don´t run over anybody because the proper place to park doesn´t have the advantages of parking on the sidewalk or the parking is too far, etc. The problem with that is that if one car does that it´s just weird and bothering for the people walking, if there are two cars it starts to be a problem and if a lot of drivers do the same then it will be dangerous.

Actually its a common misconception but Skateboarding is actually a crime, and making trying to wish it away and making stickers simply isn't going to work. Skateboarders are criminals right up their with rapists and murderers. We don't want to break the law but we really don't have a choice, we have to skate. Even if it is a crime.
i skate too, and i've dealt with cops too, and, yes, you can get arrested for it, but it's not even close to being comparable to murder or rape. that's stupid.

I have skateboarded for 6 years. And I'm in the military fighting and put my life on the line daily for my country. And then when I'm back home here the states, I STILL get stopped by cops while I'm skating and get screamed at and told to show some respect for someone other than myself and to make something of my life. Fuck that man. What do you think I'm doing? Fuck all of you who think that way. Being ignorant gets you nowhere. It's fucking stupid.

i love when people argue on here its so much fun! yes skateboarding is loud but arent cars and music but you can do those.. it doesnt make sense.. skateparks suck who want to ride the same thing over and over would you wanna run up and down the same street all day and look at the same stuff while your doing it? Actually its a common misconception but Skateboarding is actually a crime, and making trying to wish it away and making stickers simply isn't going to work. Skateboarders are criminals right up their with rapists and murderers. We don't want to break the law but we really don't have a choice, we have to skate. Even if it is a crime.

Except you can't run on private property when it's marked (just like skateboarding), you can't crack your skull open when you run (like you can in skateboarding), and you don't damage railings and benches if you run on them (like you can with skateboards). Not buying the propaganda.

Well if you wanna risk cracking your skull open by skateboarding that is your choice. It doesnt affect anyone else than yourself if you crack your skull open. And that argument is useless if you yourself have ever driven a car. And i guess you have? Because the chance of getting seriously hurt and hurting others are far greater when driving a car.
And you dont damage railings while skating on them. And if you do its not like all skaters do it.

I LUV RUNNING!!!! and i think everysport should be accepeted. some sk8 borders i knw r annoying but skateboarding is an awsome sport like everything else.
