Shatner has this arrogant attitude that anything or anyone involved with science fiction should bow to him, beg for his one-hit-wonder seal of approval. Open your eyes, Star Trek is over. Michael Giacchino has done more for films that you could ever hope. So go back to your cheap TV sets, put on your dime shop costumes and beam yourself off camera, please.

@enrir8953 I disagree. The closest elements (by ear) appear to be some of the chord progressions, otherwise they're very different pieces. The styles are very different and the melodies aren't even remotely similar. If you want a good example of musical plagiarism, study up on the original metal gear solid theme.
