When Beyoncé performed That's Why You're Beautiful/The Beautiful Ones as part of her Intimate Vegas Performances, she showed that the other two member's of DC can no where near touch her. And I know people are sick of it. Haha But Michelle and Kelly are both AMAZING singers, and so haven't gotten the credit they deserve yet. I just know something big is going to happen for them both and that they will be completely embraced like Beyoncé. They have proved that they DON'T need Beyoncé though.

I love this performance. Michelle has unique sound, but is wonderful in her own right. Her control is great, and she sings with TRUE emotion. Kelly has a high register that is a lot more clear than that of Michelle, and Beyonce. Beyonce has the most range and is the most "technical", however Michelle is the only one that sings with emotion that you can feel. Not every note is perfect, but it doesn't have to be when it is heartfelt.

If Michelle sang with conviction in everything she sings like she did here (4:19-5:04), then she will be a force to be rectioned with. She needs to let go like that more often...in my opinion.
You could say that her voice does not compete with beyonce's and kelly's because it doesn't. neither does kelly's voice compete with beyonce's and etc. They are all unique and have unique sounds. For example, Michelle's voic would probably be fitted more to a jazzy song, whereas kelly would probably be more Hip hop.

To this day im still not sure why when they sing together...why the heck is Kelly on top of the vocals when Michelle can clearly sing higher than all of them!...she has such a uniqe sound i love it!

i love this song...I have this dvd also....(from years back) I love this version especially the ending....like the person in crowd said at the beginning...is all i can say...Halelujah!!!! :) God Bless!!

sad with a voice as powerful as hers were held back and toned down in Destiny Child and having a hard time....I guess no singing trash sell in this day and time ummm hint hint Rhianna....Michelle keep pushing, you will get the recognition you deserve. I love this performance. Michelle has unique sound, but is wonderful in her own right. Her control is great, and she sings with TRUE emotion. Kelly has a high register that is a lot more clear than that of Michelle, and Beyonce. Beyonce has the most range and is the most "technical", however Michelle is the only one that sings with emotion that you can feel. Not every note is perfect, but it doesn't have to be when it is heartfelt.

If Michelle sang with conviction in everything she sings like she did here (4:19-5:04), then she will be a force to be rectioned with. She needs to let go like that more often...in my opinion.

You could say that her voice does not compete with beyonce's and kelly's because it doesn't. neither does kelly's voice compete with beyonce's and etc. They are all unique and have unique sounds. For example, Michelle's voic would probably be fitted more to a jazzy song, whereas kelly would probably be more Hip hop.

@realness6940 Well actually the slower sales can be attributed to the failing economy and the change in the music scene...singles are selling more than albums...hence why labels are releasing more EPs - look at Gaga's The Fame Monster. 2 types of ppl who hate/underestimate her:
1)they are beyonce stans like beyonce tryna bring her down due to her unexpected's moderate success when we all know bey stole all her promotion
2)they cant appreciate the SUPER UNIQUE and extremely NATURAL voice
this is what i call TRUE TALENT, regardless of her husky and raspy voice, she didnt care abt what haters think and differed from the stereotype R&B singer. she should be a singing legend nxt to MC/whitney. :D

Im a big fan of all the girls as a group and as individuals...I believe all their voices are unique actually idk anybody who sounds like them but Michelle's voice is always a pleasant surprise because it is easy 2 forget how talented she is when she is the third member of the group.
