People in Europe are used to football, it should be structured in a similar way, a good domestic league standing should qualify you for the Euroleague. Europeans have far more skill than North Americans. Lets be frank here. Look at Turgalu for example, he's 6'10? 6'11? and he can handle the ball well. I know from personal experience that european basketball is far more educated than north americans because people here would tell a 7'0 guy to go and get the board and thats it. In europe they teach these 7'0 players to handle the ball and shoot which is why they are better

You can fight it all you want, it's pretty much the general census among anyone who has knowledge in basketball that other countries are amazing at teaching core skills to people at a young age where its supposed to be learned at. But, north america has gotten back on track in developing skilled players.

Europeans are good at just about every core thing in basketball. Its installed in them when they start basketball. My dad has seen national team practices in Europe and they would all do the same drill (hook shots, dribbling etc.). My main point was that North America wasn't teaching the fundamentals of basketball very well compared to European countries but they are just beginning to teach young players the key skills to become an amazing player.
