This was right after the feds found those mailed mysterious packages of Anthrax in the senators offices in the early 2000s. I think that's where the producers got the idea.
i really liked the ending, showed how much of a mastermind keller was............they sould make an oz pre em city back in rebadows time, that'd be great...
@NadirPeurdomme i actualy emailed a guy a few years ago who were supposed to take care of fan mail to tom fontana. and this was from a site that claimed to be tom's official fan site. anyway, i asked about a new oz or new seasons and he had answered that he thinks it's funny that many people wants it but havent seriously even thought about it himself. as far as he sees it, he is done with prison series. sadly :( now if it even was tom who actualy got the mail, i dont know..

@roburo2002 No they didn't. Guess you don't know your penal system. Prisons will ALWAYS be full because their are people WAITING for a bed in prison. I mean that once a person leaves prison someone from the county or city jail takes he place, some prisons don't have solitary anymore because their so overcrowded. That's America for ya. This is supposed to be land of the free, sure some people deserve prison but most people in jail are non-volient and can change if given a good job and support.

I just realized something, if you include the anthrax attack on the Aryans and guards and Beecher killing Schillinger, Keller killed or was responsible for the deaths of the most people out of the entire show. Even in death, he managed to kill people, that's badass.

Yep that is true, they maybe the deadliest but not the toughest. Top 3 toughest guys in Oz Id say are Chucky Pancamo, Kareem Said, and..... Either Adebisi or Alvarez.

Rivera's Eyes hit most of his storylines were with demons within himself. & His battle to be ACCEPTED with the other Spanish Guys
Keller promised Beecher he'd take care of things, but wouldn't say how. It seems he got some guy on the outside to mail Anthrax in after even after he was killed, but how he knew someone that ahd anthrax, that's what I'd love to know. LOL
I would have rather had them destroy the facility with a fire or something, but this was kind of a lame way to end it....I mean, these sets were going to be taken apart anyway. They could have easily killed off more characters in the process.

In retrospect i think this was an OK ending seeing the place empty and hearing all the voices made me think it was supposed to be symbolic.
As in inmates change, staff members change, the situations change, but, the walls of Oz remain and all these people's stories live on within the walls
