Absolutly brilliant invention and brilliant light, you just have to be patient and give the vaporiser tube time to heat up.

Just don't leave it on in an unvenilated room or tent. DO NOT sleep with Tilley lit.

It'll use up all the oxyen & cause a buildup of letal carbon monoxide (CO) gas.

Tilley discontinued manufacture of their heaters which worked on same principle in the 1950s after several deaths due to CO poisoning.

They are brilliant though but. I have several of my own.

I have used these a lot over the years and they are brilliant, especially in winter. Take some tin foil and heat your pie on the lid! Do that with a torch matey!!
