Belger, the video game final boss is a jerk when Haggar fight, I have SuperNintendo and I have the game final fight, and when I use the character Mike Haggar Belger is an idiot, is more difficult to beat Abigail who is the head of previous level to defeat Belger, Abigail throws you and arguing with the gang, Belger does the same, but it is very stupid, because despite the fact that you shoot, it is quite easy to hold and beat him to the floor

Funny you mention "plethora" of previous ports of Final Fight, because unfortunately, it took well over a decade to get one that was "arcade perfect."

And I couldn't disagree more about the unlimited continues. It only matters if your goal is to see the end, because EVERY quarter-eater type of game was like this. You kind of figured you sucked back then if it cost you 10 bucks to finish. Just enjoy and try to get better.

I'm glad you mentioned Magic Sword, that's one of those games that I remember enjoying, but couldn't remember the name. You know, the one you describe to all your other gamer friends and they stare at you blankly and suggest that you're thinking of Golden Axe, Gauntlet, or Altered Beast (I know I described it better than that!)

Im not sure if any mentioned this, but Capcom Classics Collection Vol. 1 for the PS2 had a PERFECT arcade port/version of Final Fight. Also, why havent they done anything AT ALL with Final Fight 2 and 3? No remakes or compilation disk release or anything? Hell, I would buy Final Fight Collection if Capcom released it already!

Magic sword... I didn't know that one. It looks quite cool with all those players at the same time in a sidescroller. Do you know the king of dragons? It has some of the things that give me good vibrations about this one but it's controlled much more like golden axe or final fight. You should check it out if you haven't yet ;)
