Quick Tip: Prevent/Clean Fallout

I am wondering if this is just as effective for high glitter colors (e.g. UD Midight Cowboy rides again or Sidecar). They are beautiful but the glitter seems to just fall off the lid. A young man at Ulta suggested to use the primer just before applying the shadow & do 1 eye at a time, which helped but there was still some glitter fallout. (P.S. I press those colors rather than swipe). Thank you

another tip is if you put your foundation on ( but didnt powder ) if you get fall out, you can get your foundation brush and wipe it away ( workd best if its only bit of fall out not a tonne of black eyeshadow or whatnot) Xxx

The loose powder tip is really clever.

But, i have really oily skin, but i also have a lot of dead skin aswell from pimples that have dried up,

and so i dont know what to do.

Also, i go to school really early in the morning and i have to do my face makeup really fast and it ends up looking shitty, but because my skin is soo bad, i cant just go to school without it , you know ?

I like to stretch out a cotton pad(perfectly shapes the eye) and hold it under my eyelid.

Another way of preventing fallout is to put a piece of greaseproof or tracing paper or a piece of card under your eye when doing your eye makeup. Hold it there with one hand while doing your eye makeup with the other and the fallout will fall onto the paper. Then all you have to do is throw the paper away when you're finished and it doesn't affect your foundation. :)

Hey josh, thanks for the tip. Quick question: with using so much powder, would the powder cause a feeling of tightness or dryness on the skin if one is already prone to dry skin? Also, try knocking the excess powder off of the shadow brush before applying. It will take more applications to get an intense colour, but the all around results are the same, and the effort is the same as it would take to remove fallout.

I went through the comments on this and you suggest using tape for glitter fallout, but I was wondering if you use any glittery urban decay shadows? All my urban decay shadows with glitter in them have wicked fallout that is not easy to get off! Esp. Uzi, Grind, and Midnight Cowboy, which have chunks of glitter in them. I rarely use them anymore because the fallout from it is such a pain.
