  • hey- thanks- there's a s tesrify, then an instrunetal- please write me w the namr once u hear it. I think Texas Flood was next, then Voodoo Chile Slight Return-. I'll have to look around for the set list- i still have pride abd jot, rude mood, scuttlebuttin, wham, and Lenny anf Mary had a lil lamb. Vocals hard to hear- Texas Flood is uploading now- check in an hour, should be up!

  • Wow- I thought I had still to find the tape and digitizr it, but I already did it! Yay!theres a 9 minute Texas Flood and the show's opener was Testify , Watch for Testify next, then Texas Flood. I am so glad to have been able to share this with the world 25 years after. Thanks for reminding me to take care of this 1957- peace! : ).

  • It was one of my top shows I ever attended. I never went to see him again, as I felt he would never be any better. I kustened to this many many times over the years and I don't think I was wrong. I was really smart (lucky too!) to land 10 feet in front of him with a tape deck at the height of his career. It felt like seeing Jimi at Monterey- just too too much. I wrote on the cassette that he played the entire last solo (the chordal one) behind his back. what a guitarist.
