Those kids have promising skill. They all the intangibles of a great player: great first touch, creativity, chemisty and individual skill. These kids could only mature into better player. Good luck.

It was a friendly. That said our boys played creative attacking futbol. Not much poetry on the brazil side. By the end the Brazil had gone into the roll up in a ball "not in the face" formation.

Now we will se how well the new USA system can develop these players whereas in the past the system has only stunted there growth. Brazil will always be top 4 in the world because of the great system of finding and growing world class talent.

@CDRLShow Not really, unless you count having ancestors from different countries as being from a different country. Their players have American accents which indicates they were either born there or have lived there for most of their lives.

@CDRLShow How many generations back does it have to be to not count from being somewhere else? Two of the scorers' names are Turner and Wade, which are names that have been in this country pretty much since the beginning, but if you go back far enough you get England. We didn't just sprout out of the ground here, so unless we recruited a foreign player onto the team I'm pretty sure all the players are American. Is that what you meant?

@oloera10708 yeah theyre all too old, no one understands how these youth team cycles work, most of these kids just turned 16 or are 15, and the teams did it on purpose even though its a u17 friendly because they want to build their players for the next u-17 world cup. I hate it when people use these stupid "theyre not trying" or "these arent their best players" excuses any athlete worth his salt will actually try and win, cuz I know its a crazy thought, sometimes coaches ARE ACTUALLY WATCHING.

@oloera10708 These aren't the players that played at this past U17 World Cup (on either side). These are the players who just turned 15 or 16, and are eligible for the next U17 World Cup in the UAE in 2013. In other words, they're getting ready for the next two year cycle before the 2013 U17 World cup.
