It is supposed to have been that Rosanne did not realize this was her Dad's song when she recorded it, and believed it to be in the public domain. Johnny took a full-page ad in the Nashville paper, advising her of copyright infringement. It was rather tongue-in-cheek. Is it me, or wouldn't that be a great way of promoting his daughter's recording a little bit? ;) He was a brilliant man, and Rosanne is brilliant in her own right.

My Dad would take us for loooooong car rides. We would listen to Johnny Cash, Roger Miller, Hank Williams, Nat King Cole and many others on his 8 track tape player. We had so much fun on those long rides. Our Grandmother is gravely ill & in the hospital so he would take our Mom there so she could sit with her Mother.
