  • Nuts are healthy I think like almond butter

  • hum someone needs to tell her that she forgot to give some lunch ideas?!!!

  • @francineW1 lmao yeah where were those!? XD

  • I love almond butter. I've replaced it with peanut butter since it doesn't have unnecessary ingredients in it, like corn syrup.

  • they sell food at gnc? holy crap i got to check that out! and i shop in gnc because i surpass "standard" physical activity so the supplementation definitely works...on top of that...when the body is undergoing "over the top" physical activities toxins and wastes are protrude through the pores as sweat..so it creates a "recycling" effect...and sorry, i just found it really ironic a lady that is kinda "thick" is giving health tips for "leaner" living..America evolves backwards.

  • haha...i'm getting whole food advice from a big lady

  • @TH3D1R3CTOR skinny people are the worst ones to give food advice, for they are allergic to "food" & eat only what is sold at GNCs & stores like that, & stuff that is chemically synthesized in the labs, poppin pills to expel or cigarettes to exhale more than what they put in

  • Remember that the almonds in most all almond butter are pasteurized. That's bad. You can find almond butter online that's made from Italian almonds. They are imported and are NOT subject to pasteurization. Remember, as well...that with any nut or seed butter, 99% of them are NOT sprouted. You can find sprouted butters online, too. Whole Food doesn't carry any. They're expensive but your digestion will thank you!

  • Saturated fats are not BAD...raw coconut oil is mostly saturated and olive oil has saturated fat in it (it's a monounsaturated fat), which is why it's more heat-stable than polyunsaturates which form free radicals when heated. D'oh!

  • @dearyogini There is a rule of thumb about what fats are good 4u2 eat, an age old way used b4 this "scientific jargon" was invented. When you put solid fat in your hand, if it melts it is good 4u, if it does not, it is bad for u. Try it. The regular butter, coconut butter & the Indian fav ghee all pass this test, while the margarine, shortening, suet & hydrogenated fats etc don't

  • if you have a dry cough take a spoon full of almond butter by its self each meal

  • @cantell933 I've been eating it since I was 15, & now while pushing 60, am still waiting...have never needed even to get my eyebrows done or upper lip treated for hair removal even by threading...still have plenty of hair on my head....where they r pretty desirable.

  • I always take carrots and Almonds for Lunch to school. Sometimes is fruit instead of carrots :) x3

  • those almonds are most likely not raw. Thanks to the FDA it is required by law that they be pasteurized. If you really want to know if your almonds are raw try sprouting them, i jut quit eating them and switched to sesame seeds and hazelnuts, but you can buy raw almonds from Spain or a few farms here in the Us, I found one in CALi

  • Yeah, I was shocked when I found this out. You can only by raw organic almonds direct from the grower.
