  • super cute teacher...makes learning easier :)

  • My hovercraft is full of eels.

  • So, who wants to help me study Hongarian (msn/skype/webcam)? I will go there in six months for my work, and it would be nice and respectful to be able to talk without a translator. I could teach you Dutch if you like? Plz help me out!

  • @1987marjo Could you teach me English instead?

  • Olyan vicces ezt magyarként nézni. :D Mellesleg meg jó az a kiejtés! ;)

It's so much fun watching this as a Hungarian. :D By the way, your pronunciation is just fine. ;)

  • Köszönöm!

  • i'm hungarian and thanks i learned a few new things, well done very accurate

  • And if you know the basics, we can move on. Some useful words: manufaktúratulajdonosaitokhoz, jellegzetességkivonatolóitokkal, megszentségteleníthetetlenségeskedéseitekért, legeslegmegengesztelhetetlenebbeket. Good luck!

  • Teller was hungarian! I am hungarian too. and He was in the same school with me, in Budapest! ELTE Trefort Ágosoton GYakorlóiskola

Check it if you don't belive

  • Magyarul a "mennyibe került?"

  • Hi.. can I ask for a little help? what does this mean?

"hát ha csaj lennék én se mennék de így bármit megadnék egy szokásos 2 láda sör 2 ember kihívásért"

    Köszönöm szépen!

  • thanks for all the great videos. Will you be fixing this to have the correct vowel sounds soon?

  • Thank you! I visit in Hungaria often and maybe this will help me! I don't think hungarian language is so hard to learn and definetly it isn't the hardest european language. Finnish is the second hardest language in the whole world and Finland is a part of Europe. :)

  • krank027 i am a hungarian girl and this girl made the BE-JÁ-RAT right! i think you can't so good in eglish... ugyanis ha még emlékszel a magyar nyelvtanra akkor rájössz, hogy a magánhangzó után szótagoláskor nincs mássalhangzó!!! pl ki-fe-lé és nem ki-fel-é ... te-le-fon ... bár ha nem vagy magyar akkor jobb ha nem okoskodsz.

  • I'm not really sure what spelling you're referring to. Unless you meant pronunciation.

Thanks for telling people your opinion on the internet though.

  • @krank027 shut up you bastard, you haven't got the balls to bully people and you offend this special -very smart woman who is trying to help people on the internet. go to hell. bastard

  • @krank027 Wrong. A consonant between to vocals always has to be put in the next syllable.

  • @emszabi Valaki nem jól beszél magyrul itt....

  • @krank027 oops :D the only problem is that the correct separation of kijárat is really ki-já-rat :D because we are not separating the VERB "jár" but the NOUN "járat" in this case...

:D BE-JÁ-RAT is correct and this woman is a hungarian female if u didn't see it at the beginning of this video :) She calls Szabó Csilla - that's a beautiful hungarian name, means in english Taylor ... És a francia kiejtése bámulatos!!!:)

  • Szeretem nézni ahogy beszélsz!

  • Tökéletesen, mindenféle hiba nélkül.

  • hello. i listen ur usefull sentences.this is very nice. i m kamal from india.now i m living in hungary. i want to learn hungarian lenguage. can u help me .

  • Nemec jik fro hol fung gu yo mama.

  • Dorian, I am native Hungarian, native speaker, but this girl has a strange accent, no question about it.

Her name is really hungarian, true. But nothing to do with if she speaks with this accent :-(((

  • Hungarian is a difficult language. I need to learn Hungarian, I am moving with my American Business partner from Italy to Budapest next year. Tough time is waiting for me :-O I am quick learner though, I learn things very fast - Still Hungarian seem even more difficult than German...

  • This girl has strange hungarian pronounciation. I would say she is not native speaker.

  • She is Hungarian cause her last name..maybe she was born in France..

  • I've heard that Hungarian is the hardest European language to learn,I now believe it!

Hungarians are known as aliens from outer space, their language is like no other and they have very high IQ's!.

  • this is funny, Hungarians are proud of that the language is difficult to learn, and you say they have hogh IQ, well I lived there for a while , so why this high IQ people can't speak English good ,not expecting them to understand Japan..anyway you made me lough...:)))) I could not see that,..

  • Haha, well I don't think that Hungarians (like me) needs high IQ to speak their own mother language, it's quite easy for anybody if it's about our mother language. Learning it (later, not as a baby, of course), well it's another question. Personally my problem with English, that Hungarian is not even an Indo-European language (as English is) and uses quite different sounds compared to other languages like English, so my English pronunciation is very bad too, typical Hungarian-English or so :)

  • I haven't heard about this theory! I think our language is difficult, because we don't use as many Latin words as the other languages do.

Have you seen the vid "the Italian guy who went to Malta"? I've been a lot of times in Italy, and I think you shouldn't be proud to speak English that way XD

    You make me laugh!

    Thanx

  • Hungarian is very easy, I could speak it when I was 1.

Even small children can speajk it.

  • just try to do it, boy!

  • @dgl1962 Yeah. They've invented pretty much everything which casual Internet user owns.

  • @dgl1962

yeah we have very high IQ :D:D:D (im Hungarian :D)

  • @dgl1962 Crap. You have discovered us. *Preparing to eliminate...* ;P

  • @koRnkitty Very good! :)

  • @dgl1962 Have you tried learning Finnish? XDDD

  • @xKilaylaXstarx I am just in Finland now, and even though the two language should be similar, I have no idea what Finnish people are saying!! In fact, I haven't even found any similar word yet... :)

Someone just told me that only the grammar that is similar, and if its true, then you are screwed just as badly as we are :)

  • @dgl1962

Hungarian is difficult, but very possible and fun to learn.

  • @davka It would be fun to learn only if I had that pretty girl as a teacher.

  • @dgl1962 Hungarians are known for their high IQs? What fucking planet are you from? I'd be interested to hear you back that up with any evidence.

  • @wikichris Leo Szilard and Edward Teller (look them up on Google you rude, impulsive, reactionary asshole).

  • @dgl1962 Haha you fool. A couple of people means nothing. Every country has some clever people except not all of them chase them out of their own country because they were Jewish. Hungarians did not consider Teller a Hungarian.

  • Comment removed

  • @dgl1962 Hahaha So, you first tell me to look at Ede Teller then you tell me he's a "perfidious traitorous arrogant asshole".

  • @wikichris From what I've read, he was most certainly an asshole.

How accurate am I about the other assessments of you?

  • You should try Finnish... Hungarian belongs to the family language and it was born from Finnish in fact, eventhough there are no similar words in both languages, but the pattern of pronunciation is exact the same, it's just that Finnish, unlike Hungarian, might sound to some like a bit Russian. But believe me, just like Hungarian, Finnish might be as well as complicated. I find both languages kind of easy, or at least not that hard, but very beautiful both of them. (=

  • @arktinen Hungarian is not born from, Finnish. Maybe they are related, although many say that this is not true, but definitely Finnish is not the original language of Hungarians. 100 % sure.

  • @szalard They are realtd. They are, in fact, both members of the Finno-Ungaric linguistic grouping which it has been purpoted was carried into europe originally by the mongols hordes.

  • @jessebrettjames Not true, mongols first came in Europe in 1223, Hungarians and also Fins were in Europe thousands of years before.

  • @szalard The books I read, and in the faculty I've been taught it was. I have to say, anyway, such things are just hypotesis. There is no proof of both origins of Hungarian and Finnish. To me, the only one thing in common is the strange way they sound... like any other.

  • @dgl1962 thats right ;)

  • @dgl1962

not sure about the iq but yep they r from outer space al right

  • @dgl1962 Wow, what a simplistic and ignorant statement about a language. Everyone thinks their language is the hardest and something special. Unless you wanted to get some "thumbs up" from Hungarians.

  • @verapamil07 Of all the comments that I have had from that original post, yours is the most bitter and caustic...

What a miserable person you must be.

Let me guess, you're not married, and have no girlfriend, right?

  • @dgl1962 Wow , this is your answer , an insult!? Great way to go man, now everyone can see how you really are. Regarding your question , I have a wonderful wife , great life and don't have an urge to insult people on internet. Sorry if I made you mad or hurt you feelings.

  • @verapamil07 You must be psychotic, you've forgotten that your first statement was an insult, did you expect a compliment from me as a response?

  • @dgl1962 There is no such thing as a difficult language or a hardest one in a certain category, it all comes down to whether you have the desire to learn and whether you persevere, so don't put yourself down :)

  • i'm wondering if her soft a sounds are a little bit too hard,

especially when they are the come early in the word.

is it just me or does she have an accent?

I know i have an accent so i am just wondering if any native speakers have an opinion on this.

  • wow .... i just leanrt all my magyar was pronounced wrong :(
