There are no weights in the car. The car is so lightweight that the force of the wheels spinning in the air will flip it.

When you hear them gas in in midair that is what they are doing.

the same way plane torque rolls on the prop or a gyroscope works. with heavy wheels this car can "torque roll" on them. forwards makes the front come up mid air reverse makes the front go down mid air.

ya i do stuff like this with my revo 3.3 but the the other day i hit a quarter pipe doing 16ft backflipps down at skate park with a natural landing formed behind it, 10th time i did it with too much speed and landed flat, cause my back shock to break... i use to go to local shop to get parts but i moved. any one know know were i can get parts.

@ultimus20 some rc cars have side differencials which means the right tires spin together but independant from the left.  to flip there is enough forward or reverse torque at the tires to make it flip and to rotate just use the right or left side's torque.
