Poorly done test. Test frame should be stabilized around all four sides to minimize the absorption of energy seen when the frame "wobbles' after impact. I'd like to see this test done in a more realistic framed wall.
Yes, it was not a perfect test but there was still a force applied to the structure even though it had been dissipated through the movement of the frame. This was not a scientific study of forces applied to a window glass but it still demonstrates the strength of the attachment system. The frame of the window still bent as the glass was impacted.
