I have an 87 chevy,very low miles on it and an 89 f150,but I like this ram,I always did like them and do think about getting one,the silver looks good on that truck,if I get one it will be that body style,you have a nice truck

I looked at ford chevy and dodge before finally settling down with my chevy. but the dodge is a good all around truck. they take a hell of a beating and they're hella fast. chevy just has the performance for the gas milage. my 98 silverado is pushing 18, while my buddies 99 ram is pushing 14. but we both go off roading and trail riding, anywhere he can go I can go, and vice versa. just depends on the driver and how well you maintain your truck.

we have a used truck dealer in our town that only buys/sells dodges and fords, he says every chevy he sees falls apart after 100,000 miles, and thinking about it, all the old beat up work trucks i see driving around are dodges and fords,no chevys.

Is that right? My '79 Chevy 4X has 174,000 miles on it and I've had 14 Chevy trucks and Blazers and such in 20 years, MOST of which had OVER 100,000 miles on 'em. Either your used truck dealer is a complete idiot or he doesn't know what the fuck he's talking about 'cuz anyone with half a step inside the real world knows that is'nt true, that's a biased opinion by a fucking braindead tool.

my uncle gad a 80 model chevy with 350 2 wheel drive, somethin bout the motor wasnt that good. plus hedrovemy dad's '79 ford f100 302 4x2, took off like it was a 351

I've owned an 88 dodge dakota and I loved it, usually used it in applications ford and chevy drivers said it couldn't do. Never let me down for as long as I owned it. I drove it 30 miles with a dry transmission and a partially locked brake cylinder in the rear before it quit.(the 30 miles is a long story; suffice to say I was in an accident and had absolutely no other option)

why the fuck would anyone get a hemi? cummins is alright, ill keep my powerstrokes though. dodge is bullshit. my friend had a hemi, 99 ram, same motor. low mileage. truck was taken good care of, brand new lift and tires. the hemi blew cylinders! haha piece of shit dodge. vortecs are alright, still not as powerful as a triton. dodge hemi's are weak as fuck.

if it was a 99 ram..it wasent a hemi it was a magnum!! dont get it twisted, powerstrokes are the worst diesel engines ever built by the way cummins are the ultimate on the other hand..tritons arent too bad but still no match for a hemi especially the 2009
