There are times when a song hits home with you or connects with you, regardless of style or genre. It can sometimes be from a sound or a lyric or even a vocal phrasing. This is an example. To me, this is a haunting song (both in word & content), but the overall message that Juvenile is talking about, with hope prevailing over despair and faith prevailing over hatred, is 1 that can't be beat. I think it's a powerful example of rap being "socially conscious" and portraying "another side of life."
I used to rock this on my headphones while riding the bus to work in Detroit.

...."Hip Hop" "being socially conscious and portraying another side of life" Its a culture and Juvenile is a boss-trill track.
