  • damn john's drummin is so much better than this drummer...glad they picked him up :)

  • Sether, u guys were fine in the studio (thank God), u the musicians were the voice for me, it helped a family I was dealing with cut some slack, they were traumatized by even the slightest odor of booze on anyone's breath even mine who was there to help them cope after their dad was removed for assaulting them & their mom 1night. The song helped me let all the sadness out too, with a 6 pack all to myself after it happened, it helped them understand that not everyone is an "a" hole. Thank you!

  • Simple and perfect, love so much...

  • 0:16 was a sick riff.

  • Shaun without a Beard, Johns not there yet, and dale had hair...so old

  • The gain on that Mesa sounds awesome. I can never get them to sound like that...what gives?

  • Sounds really good for live

  • wait nick oshiro from static x?

  • the bassist reminds me of Ryan Dunn XD

  • man i love it when music can just be raw like this and utterly destroy the overly done high-quality million dollar LA studio stuff that sounds like plastic. much love

  • does anybody knows what kinda bass they use, I can't see..

    :P

  • @anoukme im guessin either schecter or bc rick but probly schecter thats what all the guys from seether used back then

  • @GuitarPlayer96100 ...thats all they use now too. Its all theyve ever used

  • Before he started singing i couldnt believe this should be shaun morgan o.o He looks so young... and fucking alive

  • In the begining, shaun looked like jay from jay and silent bob.

  • he skipped half of the first verse

  • what model schecter does shaun have here?

  • @A7Xguitarplayer0272

    c-1 HellRaiser

  • @Hollister54: Not a HR series, and not a C-body either.

  • @A7Xguitarplayer0272: It's a 006 Elite. Unfortunately discontinued a few years ago, but he played a 007 sometimes, which was the 7-string version of the same guitar.

  • @A7Xguitarplayer0272: They actually can be found pretty cheap now though, usually around $400 or so for an elite or $200 for a deluxe.

  • that drummer looked exactly like my bands old drummer when he had his hair back.

  • some ppl just shouldnt go shirtless.... especially if they have nipple rings lol

  • @FallingForInsanityx7 Well maybe, but I'm a drummer and when you play with emotion and feeling, it becomes really hot that's why sometimes I play shirtless lol.

  • the voice difference its big :D

  • love this song

  • this song rocks

  • what is song name @ 0:32

  • 2:54 dayumm nicks so fucking sexy! so is shaun.. i love this video!

  • 0:29 sounded like the intro to what would be a badass song!!!

  • :34 is pretty funny. Haha

  • :34 is pretty funny. haha

  • Now,if they would have kept making music like this...

  • The drummer has an epic farmers tan!

  • dude, it's crazy to see how much Shaun has changed over the years. all that touring, screaming, drinking and smoking caught up with him now yet somehow he still has the best vocals around.

  • the guitar player and the drummer look alike xD

  • gosh his voice sounds alot better now in my opinion

  • 2:06 coffin in the background. pretty cool as a guitar case.

    Good song.

  • this was back when they were saron gas, nice.

  • there drummer here is so sick

  • Seether is kickin`your fuckin´ass man!

  • eight years ago,wow!!

  • wow this band changed so much... i mean look at shaun compared to now lol amazing band

  • perfect as always

  • Comment removed

  • Fine again!!!!

  • was he singing the song from the grinch in the beggining?

  • Comment removed

  • What? No...

Eugene was never in the band, however he was one of the guitar techs. And you don't get rid of somebody because they commit suicide o_O it's impossible. Nick Oshiro was the drummer with dreadlocks and they kicked him out for reasons unbeknownst to me but one being they just didn't get along with him.

  • Didn't Nick leave Seether to join Static-X?

  • He did join Static-X, but that's not necessarily why he left. I don't know the full story. I do know that they didn't get along with Nick though, and depending on how badly you and a bandmate don't get along can affect the whole band.

  • Shaun's brother was never in the band.

  • It's Nick Annis

  • I remember 2002, i was in 2nd grade!

  • The thing I've noticed about Shaun is that he seems to play the same songs with different chords from time to time.

  • he plays it with A open d chord when he plays it acoustic instead of a d power chord.

  • was that a song from the grinch at the beginning, or possibly making christmass from a nightmatre before christmas?

  • there first drummer was wild

  • It´s a Schecter 006...deluxe or elite, I have one like this

  • the riff at :031 is sick

  • i fukin luv dis song

  • Who the hell is that scrawny-ass guitarist?

  • not sure, just a studio guitarist- nobody special :P

  • Patrick Callahan i think

  • this was before Pat was even in the bad bro .

  • he was a former seether guitarrist, dont remember his name

  • If you're referring to the one with the green guitar, that's Nick Annis who's currently in Black Light Burns.

  • damn i love black light burns. but didnt know thiis guy played in seether or blb

  • Nick Annis.

He's currently in a band by the name of Black Light Burns, fronted by Wes Borland (yea, the guitarist from Limp Biskit.)

  • its an omen 6 or one of the omen guitar look em up pete from chevelle but shaun has a walnut colored one if that helps

  • it defenetely isn't an omen six. It looks more like omen ellite c-1

  • no its neither, Shaun has always been sponsored by Schecter guitars. that a hellraiser which is one of the best guitars out there

  • thats an ellite, it says so at the end of the neck

  • hey ho.

can somebody pls tell me which guitar shaun is playing?

i think its a Schecter but dont know shich one.

    pls help

  • hellraiser!

  • it has to be good its SEETHER if it was an local band cover it would SUCK !!!

  • Great performance!

  • does anybody know what happened to the aol sessions of seether? it's not on aol anymore and this is the only song off of the sessions that i can find

  • at this time they were quite good

  • i seen seether live in 04

  • It's crazy how seether can go through guitar players, that's like the best job in the world I think.

  • amazing:)

  • can barley hear the bass....

  • ahahah you just have some bad headphones, cause its pretty clear for bass

  • What kind of bass does Dale have here?

  • looks like b.c. rich

  • No, it's a Shecter of some kind.

  • i love this band i saw them live in 08

  • lol u say it like 08 was 10 years ago

  • lol

  • what's the bit that shaun is playing from :18-:23? i've heard it somewhere, but i can't put the words to the song.

  • funny man shaun isn't he?

  • This was a pretty cool video.

  • i love seether best band ever

  • he is influenced by kurt so it affects his singing, man dont be hypocrite not to admit it

  • God, it still shocks me how different he looks now.. I met him back when he looked like THIS,, and then at later show a year or two later. WOW........ still my favorite band though :P

  • @rockster2214 Not to mention how different he sounds.

  • @XxCarcassRulesxX Yeah, really. Before all of the smoking and endless nights of screaming took effect on his voice. Still love him, though

  • @rockster2214 I think I remember hearing some where that he had some vocal training sometime after Disclaimer II. It doesn't matter though, Shaun is incredible.

  • @rockster2214 he was sexy then and is sexy now!!!

  • Really i do not think he sounds like kurt and yea shaun does not like to be compared 2 him i would'nt like it either.

i just love seether so much and always will

  • he sounds just like kurt in take me away

  • take me away is also Seether's song, isn't it?

  • this drummer kicks ass, he plays wit static x now I wonder why he parted ways wit seether???

  • Love this!! Couldn't get it to work for me this morning though! (confused) It said "video not available" Hmmm??

As for Shaun sounding like Kurt, he can channel him great on Nirvana covers, it's like having Kurt right there in the room with you. But as he said himself, on Seether stuff, it's all him, all his voice. He's always disliked being compared to Kurt when he was doing his own thing. It takes away from what he's doing he says.

  • No your right he does sound like cobain a lot

  • all new bands sound like a cross between nirvana and creed...

  • His Voice so reminds me of Cobain it's so scary, please dont get angry at me for saying it

  • i can definitely play the drums to this song. then again, it's 6 years old, so that's not that difficult. still a great song through the years.

  • his voice ... omg <3

  • Wow!!! They all look so young!!! Thanks for posting this. Shaun is a God!!!!

    Much love to Shaun

  • I THINK Shaun was either 22 or 23 here...

  • he was born in december 21 1978

  • i love the drummer's hair...lol...i dont kno why. its kool lookin.

  • but! They're shitlocks!

  • What? Dreads arent dirty.

  • oh I know. Dreads are badass. I just...don't like them when they're...short like that. Yea, I know they're tied back. His are kinda..I dunno too manicured looking on him.

  • lol...amazing i love seether soo much...shaun is sooo funny..."wimp ass dude".....he is awesome. lmao

  • This is amazing.

    Love it.

Oh and he said "wimp ass dude.",enkenonsense

  • shaun looks so young in this hah

  • what happend to the drummer in this video?

  • It's Nick Oshiro. He is now with Static X.

  • when did Nick leave Seether and when did John Humphrey jump in?

  • they must have gotten some influence from nirvana

  • does anyone know how long john humphrey has been with them????

  • Late 2003 I believe.

  • July 10th 2002

  • Hey what kind of amp does shaun use?? I want that gain and tone!

  • Shaun Morgan is using mesa boggie amps :)

  • he uses mesa boogie

  • whats he saying there: I think hes a woompastdude????

woompast is wrong or?? whats he saing?

  • He was saying, "I think he's a wimp-ass dude." Shaun loves to joke around and is a tease :P

  • good lookin guy

  • could u tell me who's the drummer his style iz so fuckin ridiculous and if he plays for another band if so whats there name and do they have any videos on here

  • See other comments.

  • they're amazing

  • lol its funny when shaun is talking into the microphone in the beginning.. love this video! seether is an amazing band xD

  • No, it's not. It's Nick Oshiro. He is now with Static X.

  • yeah dreads is the only similartiy

  • It's from 6 years ago.

  • it funny the singer looks youner in this whos that playing dumms and guter

  • The only ones I know about are the ones on "Fragile" that were re-released on "Disclaimer".

  • No, I didn't know that there were any! (weep)! Lol. If you find out though, please let me know! I'm always in the market for anything Seether/Saran Gas, no matter what it is!

  • There are a couple on youtube. Someone on the Seether forum mentioned a couple of demo tracks were on a cd before Disclaimer came out. I would like to have those, better quaility.

  • I got so tired of hearing the radio edit that I went back to listening to the version that's on their album "Fragile". (Released back in 1999 when they were still in South Africa & known as Saran Gas) But this version is wonderfully beautiful!

  • I love the Fragile cd. Do you know where to get the older Demo versions of Needles, Gasoline, etc?

  • look on limewire. thats where i found all the saron gas demos before my computer crashed.

  • limewire probably caused the crash, I wouldn't suggest using it,

  • maybe using limewire (which carries viruses and is illegal) made your computer crash.

  • who gives a shit about things being illegal and you only get viruses from shit like that if you dont check the actual files. Lime wire didnt cause the crash it was something someone opened in an email.but i dont use limewire anymore cuz i found something better

  • I am. Alwaystubed.

  • who is that drummer? pretty sick style.

  • Nick Oshiro. He is now with Static X. Good drummer.

  • Awsome! who was that guitarist tho?

  • Nick Annis I believe.

  • Shaun's voice never gets old. Awesome!

  • are u on a seether forum?
