I showed this film to an American girl I was seeing at the time and she didn't get it at all. In fact she asked if I could turn it off half way through. Now, comparing this to my previous girlfriend who insisted we visit Bruge because of this film, I felt shocked and appauled that the american didn't fin a single part funny. I think this must just be a film for UK humour, which is a shame.
