I saw this when it first aired on tv, Shindig was broadcast on Wednesday nights, The Original Temptations was such a wonderful act, an amazing singing group, I also was fortunate to see them perform live several times, what an amazing experience. Politics was all screwed up then, but the music of that era was heaven sent, the music did bring about positive changes.

@tderrell7 The Temptations sounded better than their records live, because you could really hear the background vocals, on 45rpms, & vinyl, you hear the backing vocals better than the remixed digital cds, no lip sync, great live band, The Temptations' show was very tight.Also, Eddie,Paul,David. Melvin were the best lead vocalists, especially Eddie.Choreography was better with the original Temptations.

I luv all the classic 5 and I think Eddie was not one of the better dancers, but at 1:28, he and Melvin are getting it. The temps are so classic, I just love to watch them. And I agree, Otis was lost, but on the other classic My Girl clip he also looks lost. May be he didn't have the confidence that the other guys did at this point. Either way, I luv all the classic 5.
