Back when this song was originally recorded (Roadwork by Edgar Winter and the White Trash) it was 18 minutes long. It was not uncommon for songs (rock, metal, blues, prog) to go for 10 - 30 minutes. Everyone today wants 3 - 4 minutes, then switch gears. Must be ADD...
