You are sooooo lucky. I have tried, after much reading, to keep a batfish alive with no success. After 3 attempts I gave up. They are the most beautiful fish ever! Good luck & enjoy!!!! Where did you purchase, if I may ask? I live in Boca Raton, Fl.
This is so impressive. I have not been able to keep any of my PBats more than a month. Would you be willing to please email me with how you do it? Just beautiful.
yah i would agree! if company's wormed and had a special aquarium with soothing agents in it for this fish on arrival and help them in that for a week youd probably actually get them eating! as with sweetlips!

Is it still alive? I'd think all the noise in the background would have killed it off :P
All kidding aside, you are a wonderful aquarist to keep the pinnatus alive for so long. I hope that it stays in your tank for years to come.

Get rid of the ich and flukes that plague this species upon arrival and they eat anything. Serious.
As long as its not bullied.
