The Gospel of John says that Jesus and His disciples stayed with the Samaritans for two days after He talked with the woman at the well because they believed Jesus. They believed Him not just because of the woman's account of what Jesus said to her but they heard Him and believed for themselves

When Jesus was in Samaria, at the well, talking to the Samaritan woman and his disciples were not with him, then how were his words recorded in the gospel, when Jesus's disiples were not with him then where do these writings come from if the disciples were not there to hear them.

When Jesus befriended the Samaritan woman and the Samarians, I am sure His disciples did too. Jesus stayed with the Samaritans for a while. I am sure the woman told the disciples what happened when she first met Jesus. She told all the Samaritans about what Jesus said to her.

The discples of Jesus did not write the bible. The bible clearly states God wrote the Bible using human disciples. If humans wrote the Bible I would not believe it and neither should anyone else but they didn't. God wrote the Bible by speaking to his followers using the spirit.
