  • i wear sz 10 boots and i have a forum destroyer 154 wide and its fine

  • I'm planning on getting the forum manual 2010 147.. anyone have any types of bindings they would recommend with this board?

  • just got the 2010 forum manual with forum faction bindings... soooo sikk

  • chillydog board, with shaka bindings, and tweak it boots. fuck yeah

  • im 6'1 about 165 pounds should i get the burton blunt or the forum destroyer also what size 155?

  • just got the manual pretty sick bored i might say, perfect board for me, pretty flexy and super fun board i would recommend this board for sure!!

  • Just wondering if i should invest in the chilly dog or scallywag..

im 6 foot and 175 pounds size 10.5 boots

i was thinking chilly dog 154

    or

scallywag 155 i think it is?

im looking to hit more jumps then jibbing but am i going to need a wide? and what do you suggest?

  • Chillydog is a style of making boards, not a specific one. Which means, the scallywag is a chillydog style board.

  • meant destroyer chilly dog*

  • you wont need a wide for a size 10 boot, maybe midwide though, im not quite sure. the scallywag is a fuckin sick board, my friend has it, i'd definitly reccomend that. but the "chilly dog" is not the name of a board, its the reverse camber technology that forum is using on some of theyre 2010 boards. so the scallywag has chilly dog technology but isnt called "the chilly dog". definitly go with the scally wag if you can afford it though :)

  • is the manual good all over the park?? anyone kno?

  • its mainly a jib board.

  • Hey, im looking in this snowboard magazine from the-house, there are 2 different manuals, 1 in this vid and another, the other one is less expensive is there a big reason why?

  • @flipskater900 one probally has chilly dog with pop, i think thats the only other manual and that will just make pressing a breeze and an upgraded core for more pop, but its not a big jump type deck, ive ridden my friends and if you go any bigger than 20 ft it springs ya back in the air

  • will the manual hold up on medium size terain park jumps?

  • just got the scallywag so exited to ride it :) hope its as good as i think it is :P

  • let us know what you think once you ride it.... maybe you can write a man-on-the-street review for it.

  • Hey Guys

well i am ashamed to say im a 1st timer, but really wanted a forum scallywag.

    awsome looking board btw.

i am not sure what size to get , its all completley new to me.....

i want the white bottom with black writing.....

    any suggestions?

  • everyone was a "1st timer" at one point... couple of things how tall are you? how much do you weigh?

  • im about 6ft 4

    11 stone

    and size 11 feet

  • ok. bad news. the scallywag is gonna be too small for you to ride. even the 55 will washout on turns if you are 6'4" tall. other boards to check out would be "Gnu Carbon Credit BTX Series - 160 WIDE" or "Rome Manual 159 Wide" Get at least a 159cm and maybe a wide model.

  • thanks dude,

that sucks though. i will have to chop my legs in half to be able to get a lovley 151 scally wag :) cheers

  • see that.. spoken like a true snowboarder... do whatever it takes! cheers.

  • wat do you ride ? and what size?

  • I ride a K2 Believer 157cm. I'm 6' tall. 180 pounds. It is soft and a tad on the small size for me but I've adjusted, and now I love it. Before that I rode a 160cm Lib tech. -Mulch

  • wow , nice board dude!

    good patern.

do u live near any slopes ..?

  • I live just about 2 hours from the mountains in New Hampshire and Maine. My home mountains are Loon and Waterville Valley. THey have fun trails and ripping park setups.

    how bout you?

  • thats cool,

    i live in wales (uk)

not much snow or mountains but i do take seasonal trips to france in the winter .

  • does the chillydog destroyer have a lot of pop, or am i losing all ollie power?

  • I personally think with any rocker you have to ollie from under your back foot... and not off the tail (like camber). The trade off of rocker is losing a little ollie power. But you gain slippery goodness. (that is my opinion, not the official EB stand -mulch)

  • DC MLF or Forum Chillydog?

  • c'mon. chili dog all the way to 2033. -mulch

  • I saw the video on chillydog tech but I wanted to know if the boards are completely rockered out or if they're flat underneath your feet like banana tech?

  • it is "continuos rocker" from tip to tail, so it is reverse between the feet and from the bindings out.

  • i just ordered 09 maunal 156. it says its good for wide feet. just wndering cuz i have like size 11(normal) i might go to MT hit sme moutains but most likly just riding on smaller hills around here.

  • Im thinking about getting the manual. is it also a pretty good board for tree riding/pow?

  • sure. any board will rip in pow. as for trees you might want something a little stiffer/responsive than the manual. that's where the destroyer would be better.

  • how big of a foot can i cram onto this board?

  • i just got my forum destroyer chilidog in the mail and it got a transworld good wood award!

  • I <3 my scallywag. You can butter around anywhere and has been stable enough at the speeds I can reach. 20ft kickers are sweet! Rails and boxes all go down with an AAARRRRRRR!

Apart from the S-Box that spat me off yesterday :( OUCH

  • anymore info on the scallywag? is it good on 30+ foot jumps? or is it too soft?

  • totally fine on 30 footers.... 60 footers still good.... 70? maybe upgrade to a destroyer. -mulch

  • question for all of you. I live in michigan so we dont get any powder, but we do get a lot of slush, ice, and the man made shit they pass for snow. i like to ride a little park, but i just mostly cruise down the runs having enough fun that way. I ahve never ridden a reverse cambered board. should i get a 01 destroyer chili dog or a regulara destroyer?

  • i say regular destroyer. -mulch

  • I've got Destroyer 09, excellent board. I'd love to try Scallywag tho :D.

  • Scallywag is probably the greatest board of the season in my mind without a dought chilli dog tech is the best rocker out there

  • ive got the 09 destroyer and its sick

i wonder what the 2010 will be like

  • the new manual looks nothin like the previos ones. all the old ones are like striped. But this i think the graphic is pretty stupid, same thing on bottom and top, what is this?? Edges look sweet on the manual though. the scallywag looks awesome

  • I never knew until today that there was a scallywag lol, it looks realatively similar to the manual...is it? and to you "mulch" i really want a destroyer '10 how much shouldi expect to be paying?

  • the 2010 destroyer is one of the most fun boards I've ever ridden. they made it a little softer than '09 -mulch

  • SICK boards

  • i have a 09 manual and i love it

  • i just bought one! haha can't wait to try it out. i found one on sale 50% off!

  • arrrrrrrr
