you wont need a wide for a size 10 boot, maybe midwide though, im not quite sure. the scallywag is a fuckin sick board, my friend has it, i'd definitly reccomend that. but the "chilly dog" is not the name of a board, its the reverse camber technology that forum is using on some of theyre 2010 boards. so the scallywag has chilly dog technology but isnt called "the chilly dog". definitly go with the scally wag if you can afford it though :)
Hey, im looking in this snowboard magazine from the-house, there are 2 different manuals, 1 in this vid and another, the other one is less expensive is there a big reason why?
@flipskater900 one probally has chilly dog with pop, i think thats the only other manual and that will just make pressing a breeze and an upgraded core for more pop, but its not a big jump type deck, ive ridden my friends and if you go any bigger than 20 ft it springs ya back in the air
ok. bad news. the scallywag is gonna be too small for you to ride. even the 55 will washout on turns if you are 6'4" tall. other boards to check out would be "Gnu Carbon Credit BTX Series - 160 WIDE" or "Rome Manual 159 Wide" Get at least a 159cm and maybe a wide model.
I ride a K2 Believer 157cm. I'm 6' tall. 180 pounds. It is soft and a tad on the small size for me but I've adjusted, and now I love it. Before that I rode a 160cm Lib tech. -Mulch
I live just about 2 hours from the mountains in New Hampshire and Maine. My home mountains are Loon and Waterville Valley. THey have fun trails and ripping park setups.
I personally think with any rocker you have to ollie from under your back foot... and not off the tail (like camber). The trade off of rocker is losing a little ollie power. But you gain slippery goodness. (that is my opinion, not the official EB stand -mulch)
I saw the video on chillydog tech but I wanted to know if the boards are completely rockered out or if they're flat underneath your feet like banana tech?
i just ordered 09 maunal 156. it says its good for wide feet. just wndering cuz i have like size 11(normal) i might go to MT hit sme moutains but most likly just riding on smaller hills around here.
sure. any board will rip in pow. as for trees you might want something a little stiffer/responsive than the manual. that's where the destroyer would be better.
I <3 my scallywag. You can butter around anywhere and has been stable enough at the speeds I can reach. 20ft kickers are sweet! Rails and boxes all go down with an AAARRRRRRR!
Apart from the S-Box that spat me off yesterday :( OUCH
question for all of you. I live in michigan so we dont get any powder, but we do get a lot of slush, ice, and the man made shit they pass for snow. i like to ride a little park, but i just mostly cruise down the runs having enough fun that way. I ahve never ridden a reverse cambered board. should i get a 01 destroyer chili dog or a regulara destroyer?
the new manual looks nothin like the previos ones. all the old ones are like striped. But this i think the graphic is pretty stupid, same thing on bottom and top, what is this?? Edges look sweet on the manual though. the scallywag looks awesome
I never knew until today that there was a scallywag lol, it looks realatively similar to the manual...is it? and to you "mulch" i really want a destroyer '10 how much shouldi expect to be paying?
i wear sz 10 boots and i have a forum destroyer 154 wide and its fine

Just wondering if i should invest in the chilly dog or scallywag..
im 6 foot and 175 pounds size 10.5 boots
i was thinking chilly dog 154
or
scallywag 155 i think it is?
im looking to hit more jumps then jibbing but am i going to need a wide? and what do you suggest?
james8453 2 years ago
Chillydog is a style of making boards, not a specific one. Which means, the scallywag is a chillydog style board.
HellMaster548 2 years ago
meant destroyer chilly dog*

Gorndon 2 years ago
it is "continuos rocker" from tip to tail, so it is reverse between the feet and from the bindings out.
EasternBoarder89 2 years ago
