  • post "Money on my Mind "Corey Harris! heard it on the satellite radio today and I'm craving to hear it again and again!

  • @maireraitis Sorry man I don't have any video of Corey performing that tune.

  • If you want a healthy dose of solo Corey pick up his cd "Between Midnight and Day"

Best acoustic blues album I've heard..period.

  • Noisy audience! Why don't they just LISTEN?

  • @danbrooklin do you recon as he was playing, he was thinking to himself " shut the fuck up", know i would be.

  • @joeboyjones Yeah I'm sure that crossed his mind ... LoL

  • this guy got a $500,000 "genius grant" from the MacArthur Fellowship Foundation, now i can see why

  • @saddad .. Yes he's the real deal when it comes to musical talent.

  • Now , this is the real feelin' blues .... the roots keep growin' !

  • Awesome stufff as usual with the guy. Had the luck to meet him and have a chat for a few minutes, really a great and humble musician.

My all time Correy favorite " Sweet black angel" I think it's on green from the garden.

  • "Pony Blues". Charlie Patton did it, also a very young Howlin' Wolf.

  • Thanks braz50. I looked up Charlie Patton. His recording is also here on youtube. This was a great show to be at.

  • I'll bet. And I'll bet you've long had Corey's CDs, but if not -- he does a truly inspired version of the spiritual "Keep Your Lamp Trimmed and Burning" on Downhome Sophisticate. I mean, all his stuff is first-rate... this is just a particular favorite of mine.

  • What song is this? its awsome.

  • love him

  • Me too!

  • He's freakin' awesome!

  • Yes he's an amazing bluesman.

  • Also a Fantastic Reggae musician

  • Corey is one of the most talented bluesmen playing this or last century. Glad you liked this one!

  • Most definitely. Out of contemporary blues men, he is definitely one of my favorites, along with Alvin Youngblood.

  • I'll have to check out Alvin Youngblood, thanks!

  • go corey!
