HAHA good one,I use a capo on guitar but I just can't seem to use too well on the uke.....do you use a guitar capo or one made for it?

Can i strum the uke with a pick? Cause i find it hard to strum with fingers/thumb and still get a good sound =(

@Just4Medley use a rubber or felt pick for ukes, not the plastic guitar picks

@Zinology I see =D Thanks, its just that i've never seen any strumming a uke with a pick they mostly use fingers...which i'm bad in strumming with fingers..Thanks for the tips =)

Hey, I just learned how to play w/o a pick today actually. Its not hard, it just takes some time. use ur pointer finger. Kind of make a fist, but leave the top 3rd of ur finger to do the strumming. Wish I could give u more tips about it, but its confusing over the internet.

Cool lesson Erich , Ive really got to get one of these Ukes , some young lad walked into the shop I work in this afternoon with one so i got chatting about them and he passed it over the counter for me to check it out and on the spot i knew i had to get one . They seem reasonably priced too. I left school a long time ago (34 now !) but from what ive heard they teach kids the ukulele instead of the boring recorder these days , lucky little sods . Wish we'd done that in school .
