@Kloo Impenetrable Defense has been removed, for the better tho since got "Serenity" instead. Which is a much better bubble :) Immune to all damage and movement impairing effects, and still lets you deal damage and use other abilities.

I'm making two chars right when i get D3. A Melee and a Spell Oriented toon. Pretty sure im content on using a Barb as my melee but i was wondering if Monk is going to be more or a melee/tank or medic character or are they gunna be like a magic paladin almost.

My biggest problem with Diablo games (otherwise incredible) were the challenge of enemies. It seemed the only way Difficulty increased was by enemies being harder to kill, they had more power (basic things) ...Id want too see some intelligent AI using all the same sklls and spells you'd use in a situation lik CC, flanking/positioning, using spells at right time..etc...the only rpg to ever really test my skill was Baldurs gate series otherwise its going to be way too easy and boring..

@Deadnsd They tried the older art style and it just didn't fit the game well. Blizz said they went for a darker vibe through the game instead of just darker colors^^ If you don't like it don't play it! One person won't make any difference to Blizz xD

Haha, Exploding Palm will be what all will buil their Monk around ... Blizzard sure learned by their mistakes, the other Skills won't even get used by the Hardcore grinders, perhaps the Blind and 7-Hit Combo for a free Invincible Status.

Really, Blizzard should get a new team to make Skills for this game, it's clearly already broken.

Blizzard should just hire a new team, also I think you can only contact them via eMail but they don't care for it, only for the money they'll make.

I've never been a fan of hand to hand combat toons in RPG's ect, I've always found them to be boring doing the same skills every time, atleast with the barb, demonhunter you will be able to get different weapon upgrades so that you feel more powerful as the game goes on. With the monk you're just getting different colored attacks, i'm worries it may get boring always looking for a new staff to strap to your back.

But don't get me wrong I love the diablo series, I prob won't be playing monk thou
