Natalie proved she was right and Bush was wrong. I voted for him but knew these wars were never ending right after 9-11. Our local country station quit playing the Chicks after her comment but I called them recently and asked for them to be put back on. They didn't. I guess I will just have to beat their ass next time I see them in public. The BIGGEST PROBLEM in the U.S. is radio jockeys.
The Dixie Chicks are amazing musicians, individually and as a group. They will always be a favorite. -And anyone brave enough to stand behind their words, especially in the eye of the public is tenfold amazing. Way to go, Natalie; Way to go, DC.

The Dixie Chicks are my favorite band. I love the original, have from the moment I heard it. And though I don't think this is better, it certainly is excellent. They're just too good to screw anything up. They were faithful to the original and didn't try to change it up. They just played it and added their 3-part signature DCX harmony. Great job, ladies, as always.

I think that they did an amazing job covering this! They can cover pretty much any song, and for the record, the Dixie Chicks have been around way longer than Train. I like Train, but the Dixie Chicks beat any singer/band!

Please, please, please Dixie Chicks. Please don't EVER butcher "Hey Soul Sister" again. That was awful and ear piercing. That is TRAIN'S song and they do a hell of a lot better than you ever will.
I LOVE it :) Thank you so sooo much for posting this! :) I just saw them in Foxboro, went b/c I had never seen them in concert; Love them, they truly are even better in concert than they are on cd! Next time though, headlining tour ;) I love DCX, #1 band ever, but I def won't be seeing them open for the Eagles again; Eagles fans are mean!!!

I went to the concert last night with Keith Urban, Dixie Chicks, and The Eagle. I honestly think that the Dixie Chicks did the best and this cover was amazing, better than Train!
I love them for not changing the gender of the song. Like, its about a girl and they left that. Sometimes asshole bands change the gender to match their own which i find annoying.
@Ardenwolfe In a recent issue of Rolling Stone Martie and Emily said they would try to tour as the Dixie Chicks with Natalie and do smaller venues as the Court Yard Hounds in between Dixie Chicks dates. Hope that helps.
@Ardenwolfe actually, they did NOT break up. Courtyard Hounds (Emily & Marty) begged Natilie to join them on their new CD, but nat said not now. But they WILL be back together.

I LOVE it :) Thank you so sooo much for posting this! :) I just saw them in Foxboro, went b/c I had never seen them in concert; Love them, they truly are even better in concert than they are on cd! Next time though, headlining tour ;) I love DCX, #1 band ever, but I def won't be seeing them open for the Eagles again; Eagles fans are mean!!!

I went to the concert last night with Keith Urban, Dixie Chicks, and The Eagle. I honestly think that the Dixie Chicks did the best and this cover was amazing, better than Train!

I love them for not changing the gender of the song. Like, its about a girl and they left that. Sometimes asshole bands change the gender to match their own which i find annoying.

@Ardenwolfe In a recent issue of Rolling Stone Martie and Emily said they would try to tour as the Dixie Chicks with Natalie and do smaller venues as the Court Yard Hounds in between Dixie Chicks dates. Hope that helps.
