  • 2:43

  • Wow....I know Im a geek because I enjoyed this demo.

lol....I actutally surf youtube for demo's like these!

If any of you like synths...then check out my page...you might like some of the things I there.

    Cheers for the upload...

  • Casio are soooo good!

  • Anyone knows if this thing is polyphone?

  • This music is fantastic!

  • No serious musician ever used a fucking casio. Well one or two maybe.

  • @cullyvan I know what you mean, but on the other hand when I saw Steve Reich in 1986 his group had four Casio keyboards - four 202s, I think, in fact. And he used the Casio FZ-1 on Different Trains. Tim Blake sounds like he's using a CZ101 or CZ1000 on his Magic album. I remember someone using a Casio 1000P on Top of the Pops in the early 80s. And I use a CTK900, which is a vastly underrated keyboard. It's even got a built-in ring modulator.

  • @therealsweep Like I said. Only kidding. :)

  • This is seriously better than alot of synth demo's here on YouTube. Wanna buy one!

  • Great advert

  • Very advanced for it's day and a wealthy selection of sounds but why have 4 koto's, 49 sounds isn't that many, I could understand 2 harps. The sounds still sound realistic even by todays standards, bet this is a rare model though.

  • Maybe it's just me, but this demo is awesome. The song is excellent.

  • Thanks for this I recently got given one of these and always wonder what you can do with them lol very cool thank you :)

  • I certainly got a lot of use out of this great keyboard during my Teac 144 days! Thanks for posting.

  • Just won a Casiotone Casio 403, so stoked!! The sounds are amazing regardless the fact that, it is from the 80s. 80s sounds+style>present time.

  • i never knew the historical value that my old keyboard had...

  • Its weird, Tom Piggott seems was a demo producer for synths, I saw another video of his Crumar demo... also on a flexidisc

  • @synthmx I've heard the Crumar demo as well.... I kept thinking "Hmm, haven't I heard this guy before?" XD.

  • I love this little keyboard. There's not a warmer digital synth anywhere.

  • I have the previous version of this keyboard,

CT 101 and sounds great !!!

  • I have one too and it sounds great...

  • I own that keyboard and it still works perfectly.

  • I have my own promo record for this collection. Type the below title into ther bar:

Commodore 64 Music Maker promotional flexidisc

  • Thanks, added it to the playlist.

  • The song starting around the middle of the video sounds fantastic. A very warm sounding keyboard. No sampling technology used here. Just imagine a stereo version of this one with Midi or USB and maybe a few edit sliders like on the MT400V. That would be AWESOME.

  • The CT-7000 is a stereo version of these. No Midi, or sliders. It does however have a very cool arpeggiator. Look on my page for a demo.

  • @sauermusicDE

Now you are asking for too much!! Just appreciate it for what it is.

I have both this and the mt400v and they are very similar sounding.

  • We had a 202 when I was little. Sounds good.

I wonder where it is now..?

  • Witam sprzedam CASIO Casiotone 202 pisać

  • I have this keyboard...It still work amazing but 2 keys are not working dunno why...is there any way of repaoring them

  • Haha. I would, but I can't play. I'm primarily a guitarist, but I have an interest in taking up keyboard playing

  • Just managed to find mine (keys are all yellow from age). Had no idea they were so old.
