you guys are all wrong!!!!!! Sho doesn't fit the part of Glinda and Megan doesn't fit the part of Elphie. There has to be a modelesque (sp?) look to Elphaba, you have to question why you think she is gorgeous. and with Glinda there is that more mainstream beauty where the reason is clear as soon as you see her. The same goes for their voices. Which is another reason in itself why they don't fit the parts they are singing in this video.

Sho is SO versatile! She could've played either role. Didn't Sho also play Nessa? Megan would've had to work really hard to be Elphaba, her lower register has less richness to it then Shoshana's --probably because Sho is a mezzo-soprano and Megan is a soprano. Sho can hit soprano notes though. Which is impressive. And, she doesn't sound as if she's straining either -- VERY IMPRESSED!

Wow... they're both amazing!

Of course Shoshona will appear even more impressive because for some reason people tend to give more credit to singing very high rather than very low... (ok, I admit it... when she sang the optional high note of Thank Goodness, my jaw dropped). So she IS brilliant.

Considering her usual range in Wicked, Meg is doing a fantastic job as well though. And I love their chemistry. Good fun. :D
