This guy is a true genius. I was born in the same village as he came from, in sheffield. I also live very near the, Junction 31 of the M1,that he mentions in this song. I love this song. I remember this from yester-year. When he came on stage I initially wasn't at all inspired. But then he threw sweets to the audience; stroke of genius that was. My attention was henceforth undivided.

Throwing sweets at the audience ain't all it's cracked up to be. In 1983, at Pontin's holiday camp, Southport, I was in an audience of about 20-30 children who witnessed Keith Chegwin do exactly the same thing. He wasn't seen or heard of again for the next 12 years.
