I just beat the last level and was disappointed with the battle. I had a couple level 10 gems and 50,000 mana just in case thinking there might be this hard boss. I was ready for anything. I drop the 7 gems that I had for more than 20 waves to only find out the battle was over.

Looking if someone did it i finaly beat all 228 waves... Im not so high in level, just used r/o trap farms + the whole map trapped+towered. ( towered 100% :D ) 1300 gems created. One of last big mobs have around 500 milion hp... The mana generated by the R/O traps is pretty infinite. I hoped for some uber imba boss thou :(

i hope you know that dual gems are way better than pure gems, but how i did it is i got like 10 mana steal gems (grd 5 and higher) to put in traps, and it is sooooooooo easy,

at any rate, R/X gems work the best in traps, specifically R/O. when this video was made, the R/O supertrap strategy had not yet been pieced together (It combines mana farm, anger, and supergemming, all into one).

Prismatic gems are the most efficient for doing damage once the mana farm is set up.

freeing the gem in the middle caused a bit of its power to be released in a shockwave, destroying the nearby monsters...then the forgotten (who was sealed up) takes control of your body.

At the start, why don't you abuse the mana leeching capabilities (orange) more? Your turrets are more than strong enough to handle multiple waves, there is no need to invest in higher damage output at that point. Probably you wanted to 'speedrun' the last level, where I just like to see how long I can hold out. I just played this through with a decent setup and managed to get, 70,179,000 before bonus at level 117. With more optimizations, I could have increased efficiency by maybe 1000x :)

this is an old video...it's one of the first times it was beaten, so the ultra-high scoring strategies had not yet been fully worked out, nor did many understand the power of the R/O trap. As far as I can tell, nobody understood the power of a R/O supergem start at the time.

I understand why you would put an orange gem to leach mana, but what does combining it with a red do?

I strongly believed nothing will happen after 228 waves and the only thing you could do is wait till you have enough mana to play around with gems.

Believe it or not, i have beaten it before wave 15 was called, and I can easily beat it before wave 12 is called.

the trick is to make 2 grade 4 R/O gems, add two small red gemsto each, place them in traps, and start supergemming them with grade 1 orange gems.

Just beat it at level 63, didn't really use a walk through but did end up watching it for 20 sec then setup my towers more like in this video than how I was going.

In skills it should be somewhat obvious what you need maxed, max dual gem mastery and have all of them duals. I played mostly like in this video except I would also use grade 2-3 gem bombs in first 20 levels. Also I built a mana farm with the first space a slowing gem to 80% then 4 good mana return gems.Took me 2 tries at level 63.

I finished before wave 50 and was at a much lower level. Just max out trap price, trap strength, and orange gems. Put about 10-12 orange traps down and then start raising max mana to about 18,000. It should be easy from there.

Destroying the Gem of Eternity is unbelievably challenging. That level definitely doesn't horse around. It won't end until you destroy the Gem of Eternity with at lowest grade 7 gems. It's like: You got to the end. You dared to play. Welcome to perpetual hell!

hey i have a doubt i was hoping one of you guys could help me... so im trying to beat all the levels in all the modes and i find it easier to beat swarm mode by placing a lot of traps instead of towers but you get so little mana out of each monster.. so.. how do you guys beat those levels? i havent been able to find any walkthrough for a swarm mode... thanks!!

not sure about later swarm levels, but early swarm levels work well with multiple poison traps. although red/orange dual gems in traps also work well... since you get mana from multiple creeps in each hit (red gives it splash).

You should put your blue (slowing) and cyan (shocking) gems next to your other gems. That way the other gems get extra time to fire at them. I always put purple (armor decreasing) gems near the beginning of the level. That way, they soften up all of the enemies before they get to the other gems

level 65. had pure gem mastery high, the 4 boosting skills in the lower right high, the 2 skills in the lower left high, reduced tower creation cost, increased starting mana, reduced banishment cost. and anything left over i put into level 1 of individual color mastery.

it's a combo kill... if you are killing a bunch in a row without a break, the streak continues. if you have no monsters to kill, it breaks. best way to get combos is via swarm monsters... lots of them with low HPs.

no. it's based on quickness. you have to kill a monster every x seconds to keep it going. if you don't kill a monster within the streak time limit, the streak ends. i have no idea how long the time limit is, not more than a second or two.
