This song was composed by both Hans Zimmer and Patrick Cassidy. You won't find "Vide Cor Meum" on the soundtrack to "Kingdom of Heaven" because it is instead on the soundtrack for the movie "Hannibal" which came out 4 years earlier. Zimmer did the entire score for "Hannibal" and because he seems to have gotten more of the rights to the piece he probably deserves more credit for it's composition though I'm just going on a hunch. If you disagree look up Zimmer on wiki.

This wonderful piece of music was originally written for the Movie "Hannibal" by Patrick Cassidy and Hans Zimmer, and sung by danielle de niese and Bruno Lazzaretti :D I was veeery pleaseantly surprised when I heard it on Kingdom Of Heaven because it suits the scene so well and it s just heavenly :D Although I would have prefered Sarah Brightman's Version, but that depends on taste :D

wow finaly i found that song, it isnt on the soundtrack cd is it? i love it so much since the first time i saw the movie. it expresses all the pain, and all the lost hope, the loss of an utopie,....and it shows the foreseeable doom of the kingdom of heavens, without being able to stop it's breaking apart. all in one song, it's incredible!

I've always loved this song for the same reason than @balubulaba, and I always thought it was a Requiem, but the lyrics of this song are more related with love

This is not a song from an Opera, it was composed for "Hannibal" OST (directed by Ridley Scott too). He liked it so much that decided to include that song in his next movie.
